The man had just crossed the street and the cop hurried after him, so was behind the woodcarver when he yelled Hey!. I wonder if the man turned around or got shot in the back. Wonder if the woodcarver was carving as he walked along. Some people walk along talking on a cell, reading, so I guess a woodcarver might be carving.
This country has become a gulag. Let the rapists, illegals, etc go, but for God's sake pull in all the citizens walking along minding their own business--they're such a damn threat according to Big Sis Napolitano..

I counted only about 10 seconds between the cop yelling, “Hey!” and the first gunshots. If someone came up on a street yelling at me, it would probably take me 10 seconds to figure out what was going on, too.
Free citizens have a right to bear arms openly and walk down a street without harassment from police. The cop is a murderer.

Actually, it wasn’t more than 8 seconds.
From the video, it was 5 seconds from the first "drop the knife" to the shots.
It was only a few seconds. The copy yelled and you can hear some replies during the yelling but I cannot make it out the words. The cop yells and the carver replies back and forth from 0:16 and 0:23. The first shot was at 0:24.
This article says he was SHOT IN THE SIDE AND THAT THE KNIFE WAS CLOSED.
