“Will the last business in CA please turn off the lights?”
Not necessary. There won’t be any lights to turn off by then as none will be on due to energy shortages.

California used to be able to dictate standards on vehicles, toys, food, etc..., because it was the largest market and a leader.
Not any more. They have gone to that well too many times.

I’ve got to wonder how this isn’t a case of California un-Constitutionally printing and issuing its own currency.

Last one out of that state, turn off the lights.

I heard California was the world’s 9th largest economy.
Ten or fifteen years ago, it was the world’s FIFTH largest economy.
Thanks to the moonbats, California is going in the wrong direction.

When James Burnham wrote his brilliant thesis, “Suicide of the West”, he was not specifically referring to California, but if the shoe fits . . .

California should do the intelligent, honest thing, and open up their coast for drilling. Trade in real energy that will get them out of debt, and help the rest of the nation.

Is there any chance that once california is in play that the EPA could force other states to comply? I could envision rules in that regard because their clean air is being tainted by carbon from other states. Just wondering?

Maybe they will make this sham illegal in the next congress. That will put the kibosh on the CA disaster.

Question: when will they deliver the coup de grâce to their remaining businesses and taxpayers? They will deliver it in the next California budget. From rumors, I hear it is supposed to be the mother of all deficits. What will happen when the whole house of cards comes crashing down? Much violence I would suspect.
