Rep. Barney Frank is already brawling with the man who will succeed him as chairman of the powerful U.S. House Financial Services Committee.
Frank, the Newton Democrat who next month will lose his committee chairmanship due to Republican gains in the November elections, went on the offensive against Rep. Spencer Bachus, an Alabama Republican whos already made clear his displeasure with the recently passed financial-industry overhaul bill, known as Dodd-Frank.
Frank, who played a major role crafting the bill, jumped on a comment that Bachus made to Alabamas Birmingham News, which reported Bachus as saying Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks. Bachus later clarified the remark to say regulators should set the parameters for banks without micromanaging them.

Title is just TMI!
LOL...I guess i will just follow with another Double entendre.... WATCH YOUR BACK..when you’re around Barney Frank!
So Bawney was the layor and not the layee. That’s not a pretty image.
One must be careful around this little fecal-munching pervert and not forget that practically all serial killings were committed by homosexual men.
I really would prefer that Barney Frank not talk with his mouth full.
It makes it so hard to understand just what the hell he’s blathering on about.
So, maybe the incoming chairman can get some investigations started into
the CRA,
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,
Franklin Raines’ bonuses,
Fannie & Freddie’s campaign contributions to Frank,
etc.
Not likely. Bachus is my congresscritter. If you look up "empty suit" in the dictionary you will find his picture. He doesn't like to rock boats, so it's unlikely he will go after Frank, and he's just not smart enough to actually come up with his own ideas, so he will wind up going along with whatever the lobbyists tell him to do.
Sounds like he needs some encouragement from his constituency.
Wish this little fruit would just go away. Damn I can’t stand that corrupt rotten little worm.
I attempt communication frequently but get back nothing but form letters and platitudes.
On the other hand one of my senators, Jeff Sessions, is very responsive to his constituents.
So many handsome Fannie Mae executives, so little time.
Boy, I’ll be the sound of shredders going full bore is heard all over Washington right about now...
