At the hearing, Lakin told the court that he still believes that questions surround Obama’s presidency but that he should not have refused to meet with his superiors and report to Fort Campbell, Ky., while making his protest.

“I was praying and soul searching,” he said. “I believed there was a question that needs to be answered to ensure a valid chain of command. But I had asked every question, done everything else I could short of disobeying orders, without success.”

Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Setting aside the fact that Obama has spent millions (probably of our money) to avoid proving his legitimacy in court, what this debate is doing is keeping our attention away from the very real influences being applied upon our nation by the likes of his inner circle of advisers including, but not limited to: Wm. Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Valerie Jarrett, Van Jones, Tim Geithner and FCC Diversity Czar Mark Lloyd.

The background of building Obama's character by communist drug dealer Frank Marshall Davis and Chicago radical Saul Alinsky deserve far more attention than arguing about where he may have been born.

DUH! NOW he comes to this realization??? What has he been thinking about previously? I have no doubt there are questions about Obama’s legitimacy but I also have not doubt that his superior officer gave him a lawful order to deploy and as the Army informed him:

“LTC Lakin’s Article 138 complaint (a legal avenue for redress allowed service members for grievances against commanding officers) was deficient and that “the President as Commander-in-Chief is not a commanding officer for the purposes of Article 138 and therefore, no complaint against him may be addressed through this procedure.”

As screwed up and PC as the Army has become I still believe someone would have given the guy a break if he’d just dropped this crap and apologized. Now it may be too late.

In any case, a waste of an otherwise honorable career.
