If they waited til January to pass a bill, would it take effect immediately? Or months down the road? Think the main issue here is not letting people’s taxes increase on their first paycheck in Jan.

Hey Im an Independent voter. You are preaching to the choir.
I do fully see the game playing beyond politics within and am watching very carefully. All’s Im sayin is that with the taxes decision due rightnow or some won’t eat or pay bills; this leaves the dems some slick playin room to slide in all of their garbage. I think all but a select few need voted out of there. The GOP had best grow some and stop the crap.
But those voting have to weigh the balance, and looks like they mostly don't want those increases starting in January. Can't say I blame them. Difficult place to be in.
Maybe in the near future the tax rate cuts can be made permanant?
What we need now is a Conservative that will get up and state plainly for the American people that Obama and the Democrats had declared that these tax cuts which were effectively titled as the Bush Economic plan that these same Democrats who chided Bush and blamed these same tax cuts on causing the economic crisis and everything inbetween are nothing but, liars and cheats, who now support the same economic policies that they lied about for these many years.

But that isn't remotely the same bill. So the Senate can take a House revenur bill , strip out all but a few sentences, add a raft of amendments that change 90% of it and still claim it originated in the House??
