TLC describes this week's episode as follows:
Sarah welcomes Kate Gosselin and her children to Alaska. To prepare for a camping trip with the kids, Sarah takes Kate to a bear safety class for rifle practice. Then Kate and the kids experience the wilderness braving the challenges of camping in Alaska....lol.
Be that as it may, Sarah Palin tweeted,

Popcorn and pure enjoyment - the Palins, Heaths and 8 plus Kate!
I caught that! Never a more honest word was spoken!
They were investigated to see that they had the proper licenses to do the show.
Kate denied on the Today Show that the kids were expelled.
Thanks! :)
As for staying out of the rain and snow. More freezing rain predicted... Ugh!
I used to live in Texas and am ready to move back, about this time every year. :)
Goodnight! :)
I think that Sarah pulled Greta from the abyss of liberalism. Well up to the edge of the abyss at least!
Oh, for crying out loud.
As for his cheating, etc. Like I said, he's a slug and I have no use for him either.
They're both unfit and too immature to have all those precious children to raise.
I definitely agree.
Kate was just as much a bitch on DWTS to her partner tony.
wow, there really is a thread for everything! :o) glad to see this here after watching the show.
lol, whadda WHINER! though don’t you think this was a total setup? c’mon, the end result was totally predictable! I was prepared to give some slack, but Kate was rude to the helicopter pilot before the trip even started, never ever cracked a smile, never participated w/her children... never even took a photo herself. Couldn’t even just simply sit under the shelter w/a blanket over her and smile.
Like Sarah noted, 90% reaction to circumstances...
Sarah’s mom and dad worked on the WTC recovery site after the attacks of 9/11.
I can’t recall exactly what service they provided.
The Palin’s are real people and I feel lucky that they are showing America what they are all about as a family.
I used to occasionally watch the show with one of my granddaughters, and both Jon and Kate seemed all right to me at that time. I seem to recall that the 6 kids were 2 or 3 years old... still in diapers.
And you trust anything coming from Kate?
This is the firstSunday night fun sincr The old Drudge thread!
It's not a good situation. Eventually the show will end, and she will have to support the kids on her own. Jon hasn't worked for over a year, but TLC is still paying him.
His dad was Caucasian and his mom is Korean. His dad was a dentist and they did an episode showing the kids going to the dentist and showed a picture of Jon’s dad, who had passed away.
The Palin’s are a wonderful, American family. They stick up for each other. I think the Palin’s made a bunch of new fans tonight after this episode. On the Kate Plus 8 facebook page, they are reaming Kate a new one for her behavior and are very supportive of Sarah and her family. Nice to see. Chuck Sr is the kind of guy I’d love to go fishing with, show me how it’s done.
Hi Humal! You’re right. Not disappointed at all, but more disgusted than I thought I would be with Kate. She was awfully mean to her children verbally and very self-centered. Sarah is gracious almost to a fault and I wouldn’t want her any other way. It’s her show and Kate’s words and actions told the story. Sarah’s comments were wonderful.
Chuck is my hero!
You are misunderstanding me if you think I like Kate. I’ve watched every episode, and I’ve seen both sides. Jon is a slacker, a womanizer, and a guy who stole money from the family account. A judge ordered him to return the money. Kate has personality issues. It adds up to trouble for the kids.
yeah, he wasn’t afraid to call it even if Sarah held her tongue. Though she and Piper and Willow did exchange some priceless looks, did you see those? lol!
I also loved it when Sarah went trekked over to where Todd was fishing waaaaay away from all the drama, and laughed about how he was avoiding it.
It’s unfortunate that she couldn’t just allow her children to have the experience, which they were obvious totally enjoying, & make the best of it herself. What, she didn’t even bring a book or some snacks? couldn’t even grab up a blanket?
Well, I think the Palins brought bug spray along, so the kids were taken care of by the Palins. There again, Kate’s too flighty to consider her children’s needs. She was bundled-up and still cold -— duh, just stand there complaining, don’t move around. LOL. What a wonderful episode. Such a contrast.
Pick the mom you want. SARAH!
