TLC describes this week's episode as follows:
Sarah welcomes Kate Gosselin and her children to Alaska. To prepare for a camping trip with the kids, Sarah takes Kate to a bear safety class for rifle practice. Then Kate and the kids experience the wilderness braving the challenges of camping in Alaska....lol.

I always considered him the 9th child. He was no prize.
I felt that Kate was rude tonight though. The Palins were very gracious and put forth an effort to show her and the children a good time.
I’m not a camper and probably would have not been thrilled about being cold and rained on either but I would have put forth an effort to have a good time anyway and thankful for the Palin’s hospitality. Especially seeing my children having a good time and in a wholesome family situation. I never see the Gosselin children spending time with extended family. She should have put on her big girl pants and made an effort.
They would have had to pay me a lot to put on a show like that in which I came across looking so bad.
Yes! It was more of a quick comment and it was rolled into someone else speaking, maybe Sarah. But it cracked me up. I hope she grows up.
“From the look on Piper’s face; I would guess she is no longer a big fan of Kate’s show...”

When they were boarding the plane the pilot asked if there were any adults going.....that should have been our first hint.
If she continually use Not a Goslin invalidations with her children they are being verbally abused.
She said she had fifteen layers on...How many did the kids have on?
She admitted she had forgotten to put bug spray on the kids...and was swatting the bugs away. Did the kids ever get bug spray?
IMO She’ border line unfit to raise the kids.
No, you mean the 'sperm donor'. He's no more a 'dad' than a fly is a bird.
Sadly, those kids will grow up without the slightest idea what a real father is. I pity them.

She’s a terrible mother. Imagine if the cameras weren’t on her what she would do to those kids.
They’ve been investigated by Child Welfare in the past.
Most recently it has been revealed that two of the sextuplets have been expelled from school for their vicious comments to other children.
You don’t have to look far to see where the children got their ugly attitude.
What you saw tonight was CLASSIC KATE GOSSELIN. She's oblivious to the fact that she looks bad.

One would have to be pretty bad to have an elderly man call you a b.
I doubt Kate gives a damn about the negative press she gets. In her mind, as long as the check doesn’t bounce that is all she cares about
This episode was a public relations masterstroke on the part of Sarah Palin.

I’m glad Mr. Heath’s there too. I remember right after Sarah’s VP selection, he was interviewed and said something like, “These media types are all going on and on about ‘Palin’ this and ‘Palin’ that, as if they’ve known her all her life. They have no idea who Sarah Palin is.” It was a much needed moment of reality in that election campaign.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chuck Heath, such a wonderful man, wonderful father. He did a great job raising Sarah. If I ever saw him I’d give him a big bear hug
