There was an extraordinary scene at the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo Friday morning. The prize went to imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo, who was barred by the Chinese government from attending the ceremony. It was the first time since 1935 -- when the prize went to a winner imprisoned in one of Adolf Hitler's concentration camps -- that the Peace Prize winner did not appear personally to accept the award.
So on this notable occasion, the White House released a statement from President Obama on the awarding of the prize to Liu in absentia. And this is how Obama's statement began:
One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice.
Critics have often said of Obama that "it's all about him," that he has a tendency to reference himself no matter what subject he is discussing. Could he do any more to prove them right?

Nah, he has to remind people that it would be bad form to jail and punish for war crime commission in support of terror states a Peace prize winner like himself.
Zero is the essence of Sino style human right violator getting the prize. It reads manshurian job all over.
And this spring the Obama Bunny will show up to fill our baskets with tax-payer funded goodies ...
I am not eating any chocolate Obunnies.
LOL. Well done.

Carly’s cold and vain.
She makes a couple of good points there....
I heard it was Chuck E, from Chuck E’s., in love, fame.
Obama does not write these statements like the one to the Nobel Committee. They are written by his marxist handlers, speech writers, propaganda experts and content/delivery advisors. ALL prepared speeches and statements are put together by his committee charged with producing his public statements and thereby, his public persona.
Yes, the products created for Obama are "all about him". Why? Because it's part of the CULT OF PERSONALLITY history shows us was employed by the original creators of Hitlerism, Stalinism, Marxism, Maoism, Castroism, Chavezism and, even in it's own way, Beatleism. It's a propaganda technique to glorify the personality for the expressed purpose of garnering a following or making money, or both.
This is why we see Obama somewhere on TV daily. This is why when he talks it's always "I", "I", "I". It's why he's on Leno and Letterman at night. That's why when even minor issues arise, he's on the tube within hours.
He knows the game very well.
Why was and is the portrait of Mao on every street and building in China? Why were there......and still are......effigies of Marx and Lenin still scattered everywhere in the former Soviet Union?
The cult of personality surrounding Obama was worked up way before he was immaculated and continues to this day. The only difference in HIS cult techniques is that because of technological changes in communication the propaganda ploys are much more subtle and sophisticated than the sledge hammer techniques used by the dictators' handlers in the past.
That's why we don't see Obama's face on billboards as we drive around, or posters of him in town squares.
So when he delivers a statement to the Nobels that is all about "him", remember, he didn't write it, it was a group effort subject only to his approval, which of course, he gives.
If anyone thinks that the experienced, hard-bitten marxist, leftist, socialist and neo-fascists embedded in the propaganda cluster surrounding Obama are Norman Rockwell-ish pro-American, free enterprise writers and idea-men then we are indeed in trouble.
In the totalitarian world, the leaders are never allowd to look humble, unassuming, modest or self-effacing by their coterie of driven opinion-shapers ....and their public statements and speeches will reflect that.
It has been and always will be about Obama, not our country......and it's always about the various moves to keep him cemented as the Dear Leader in the public consciousness.

Between him and his ego, it's a wonder anyone else fit in the room.
B.O. the Opera Singer.... "Me Me Me ME ME ME MEEEEEEE"
I’m sorry did you write something on your post?
I was too busy staring at Carly; a picture full of memories and desires from my teen years.
;-p
He’s so vain he probably thinks this world is about him.
NObama may not wirte what he says-—but he give direction for what he wants to say & he definately reads it first and therefore approves it.
