Obama 'compassion' only goes so far/ LTC Lakin: Time to act is NOW!
WND ^ | December 09, 2010 | Joseph Farah

Barack Obama loves to portray himself as a compassionate humanitarian.

Assuring justice and avoiding unnecessary punishment is such an obsession, he would have us believe, that he opposes detaining those participating in acts of war against the U.S. He even insisted on a civilian trial in New York for the man who confessed to masterminding the Sept. 11 attacks.

But Obama's compassion does have its limits.

There's one distinguished U.S. Army officer and physician who appears to be headed to prison soon.

He hasn't committed any crimes.

He has served his country honorably in foreign wars.

His reviews by superiors were all impeccable.

Yet, he is headed for a court-martial and a likely prison sentence and discharge because he wanted to ensure he was upholding the oath he took as a commissioned officer to support and defend the Constitution.

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin wanted to determine with certainty that the president who was ordering him deployed to another foreign war was actually constitutionally eligible to serve in office.

In the court of public opinion, Obama has already lost this.
When even the liberal/Marxist comedians are making nasty jokes about his natural born status, we know that Obama is being flushed. Big time!

Then he’ll most likely be fired by the American voter in November of 2012.

He could have. But he didn't.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Then Obama and the Democratic Party will need to live with the consequences. Obama has already lost this in the court of public opinion.

I don't know that Obama ever declared that he was a natural born citizen. The fraud was perpetrated by Pelosi when she signed the papers to certify him.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Wow! Is Obama already putting out talking points on his legal defense.

He said that LTC Lakin will need money for his family and help in establishing a new life should the worst happen, that is, not only having to serve time and losing all benefits and his pension, but also losing his medical license.

Losing his career, his benefits, and his pension are is choice. As for his medical license, that isn't granted by the Army but is issued by one of the states. Just because he's cashiered and spends time in Leavenworth doesn't mean that he'll lose that. For example Yolanda Huet-Vaughn, the Army doctor who also refused to obey a lawful order and who was courtmartialed and jailed just after Desert Storm, is a practicing physician not 10 miles from where I'm sitting.

Obama’s very good at avoiding incriminating himself. Legally, it seems to me, the Democrat machine is what perpetrated this fraud. Good luck prosecuting that.

On another FR thread, there was a link to an audio radio interview today of Air Force Gen. McInerney, a staunch supporter of Lt. Col. Lakin's position, Gen. McInerney hinted that if Lakin were convicted at his court-marshal, the new GOP-contolled House Armed Services Committee will launch an investigation into the court-martial process, and will put pressure on Obama and the Army to release Lakin.

But it won't happen until and unless there is sufficient pressure from the American public on the issue. McInerny also noted the lack of coverage of the issue by the MSM, and said that if and when they change their tune and start to ask about the BC, the tide will turn in LTC Lakin's favor.

I think McInerney hasn't a clue as to what he's talking about.

Who do we call? What number? Michael Savage is a staunch supporter of our military. We need to get this info to him. I give Savage credit for having the spine and guts to openly ask his audience for help in cases like this.

Perhaps Michele Malkin, Oliver North, Laura Ingraham, and others will also help. We also need to get all the Freeper vets involved.

The following is what Joseph Farrah suggests in his essay. Personally, I have written to everyone of my representatives from the lowest state level to U.S. Senators.

Joseph Farrah: It's time for two acts of compassion in this matter:"

Jam the White House comment lines demanding that Obama release the birth certificate to avoid this show trial. Here are the key numbers:

White House Comments: 202-456-1111

White House Switchboard: 202-456-1414

White House Fax: 202-456-2461

Yeah. That's it. Gen McInerney hasn't a clue, but Non-Sequitur, who has yet to make a single intelligent comment that I have observed, knows all.

Have you ever met a f*****g General? Do you know what an incredible level of competence such people exude?

You really bring disgrace upon FR with your posts. Is this your intention?

Michele Malkin, Oliver North, Laura Ingraham,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If they have ignored ( or worse, mocked) this important issue until now, why would we expect these cowards to cover Obama’s eligibility now?

Personally, some things are deal killers. I will **never** respect these commentators again. They are mere entertainers, actors, and opportunists. Their commitment to the Constitution is a millimeter deep.

It seems the charges are Missing Movement which is a really serious charge...The fact that he is challenging 0bama’s legality as president has been set aside.
If he in fact did miss his unit’s deployment he is boxed in and he will face the consequences for that charge.

I think he had best have a really good legal officer or civilian lawyer in his hip pocket.

Speaking of not ever making an intelligent comment, how the hell are ya, ml?

Have you ever met a f*****g General?

Yeah, and a lot of f*****g admirals, too. I used to do my two weeks active duty at the Pentagon. They're thick as fleas around there.

Do you know what an incredible level of competence such people exude?

You've obviously not met some of the flag officers I've met.

You really bring disgrace upon FR with your posts. Is this your intention?

No, I'm here solely to piss you off. I must have missed the disclaimer that anyone who dares disagree with the all knowing ml/nj should not show up around here.

I haven't spoken to Clark but I did see him make a sort of political speech at Cornell. I might not have liked what he had to say but I did think he exuded competence too. There's a big difference though between these guys addressing military matters (which has mostly been where I've encountered them) and political matters. I would agree that the Larkin suit sort of straddles the two. Clark is no dummy though.

Two words - Wesley Clark.

You are so FOS that your back teeth are brown.

When it comes to being full of sh*t I'll defer to your expertise in that area.
