Good - let the clock tick. An inactive congress cannot steal nor can it take away our rights. Nor can it enact socialist agendas.
Of course and inactive Congress can steal from us, if they have put a tax rate increase time bomb in the federal code. So by not acting they will raise taxes and risk a double dip recession.

(CNN) - Defying President Obama, House Democrats voted Thursday not to bring up the tax package that he negotiated with Republicans in its current form.
“This message today is very simple: That in the form that it was negotiated, it is not acceptable to the House Democratic caucus. It’s as simple as that,” said Democratic Congressman Chris Van Hollen.

The Dems are just plain stupid.
Come Jan 1st the largest voting demographic the 15% tax bracket will take it in the backside when that rate skyrockets to 28%. At least that is my take.
Obama and a slew of vulnerable 2012 Dems will pay the price if taxes go up.
Voters will be vindicated for kicking them to the curb and will be looking for more to add to the heap.

And the GOP is dumber. They will find a way to screw up this fumble by the DIMS. I would create a new bill which will actually CUT taxes and tell them to sign-on or die.
The partisan part of me applauds the Democrats decision and encourages them to continue pissing into the wind.
