'Well, he has another possible Heisman winner in Cam Newton. I wonder if he regrets letting Cam go." I don't think he had any choice - no room under his salary cap. This is the SEC, afterall.

In the end, we all know this whole thing is Bush’s fault.

That would make the most sense. Mullen is a very good coach.
I wonder if they will look at Chizik? I do not think so, as it seems he needs big $$$ for players to win.

something like 24 arrests the last couple of years is also part of this great legacy. The Florida District attorneys office may be happy Urban is leaving town.

As I understood it he started delegating more of the coaching tasks. It was a trial run for Addazio. I think a lot of the problems stem from the fact that Addazio was trying to be the Head Coach and the OC, it's tough to do both jobs. So that is a partial defense of Addazio. If it turns out Addazio is indeed the new HC, then they should bring in Kerwin Bell for the OC.

He misses Tebow. Now I have to wonder how much of Florida's success was due to Urban Meyer himself or was he at the right place at the right time with the QB situation there?

Who is Dunzell? I hope the spelling is correct. That is who the FL board is saying will take his place. Sorry, but I do not keep up with FL. You know how rumors are.

I wonder if this is related to the fact that the Denver Broncos just fired their coach??
To: petitfour
The problem with Cam Newton at FL was that a stolen computer was found in his possession and then he threw it out the window to get rid of the evidence. The young man and his greedy father are not to be trusted. The Heisman should go to someone with good character as well as good football skills, but Reggie Bush set the bad precedent here.

The Florida District attorneys office may be happy Urban is leaving town. Why would they? He was guaranteed job security.
I know. Pot. kettle. Glass houses.

I like to ask Michigan fans: “If you spelled “Lloyd” with two “L’s” how many “W’s” do you spell “Rich” with?
