Comedian Kathy Griffin wasn’t so popular with the troops during her USO Diva’s Salute stand-up act on Sunday, when she poked fun at Bristol Palin’s weight.
“[Bristol Palin] is the only contestant in the history of ["Dancing with the Stars"] to actually gain weight.”
Following a chorus of boos, Griffin went on to say, “No, come on, come on. She gained, like, 30 pounds a week. I swear to God, it was fantastic. She’s like the white ‘Precious,’” referring to the obese African-American character in the eponymous 2009 film.
When the booing continued, Griffin shouted, “You can boo louder than that! Come on, boo me! I love it! I love it! War is Hell, war is Hell!”
This isn’t the first shot Griffin has taken at the Palin family. In 2009, Griffin made jokes about Sarah Palin’s infant Trig, who was born with Down Syndrome. Kathy Griffin justified calling Trig Palin a “retard baby” via Twitter:

There is absolutely nothing about this woman that I like or find endearing. She is the most abrasive, abusive, nasty, mendacious, outrageous, rude, insolent, and blasphemous woman I have ever had the displeasure of hearing speak. She should just crawl into a lesbian hovel and stay there... skank.

Is it not enough that our soldiers are serving in that godforsaken hell hole? Must they also endure that foul mouthed train wreck?
Better idea—send Griffin to Gitmo. Let’s see how long Human Rights Watch tolerates that.

Mrs R2 had that show with Kathy Griffith on last night. I could not believe they allow that nasty skank bitch to host.
I wasn’t watching it, but any show that would have that whore on is maybe a degree or two better than a Comedy Central roast.

I don’t get how anyone can find this shrew funny.
Part of being an entertainer is understanding your audience and the best entertainers understand this all too well, which explains why Kathy Griffin is third-rate entertainer. Perhaps she’s hoping to get off Hollywood’s D-list, but I’m sure they think she’s a putz too.
