No one can deny Sarah Palins charisma, common-sense approach to issues and media savvy, and few will deny she was an overall plus for the GOP this past election.
However, I find it rare in conservative and Tea Party circles for anyone to support her as the serious Republican presidential nominee in 2012, much less the winner. Conservatives are well aware of Palins shortcomings, yet the media seems to be rather blind to them at the moment. In fact, every time I turn on the TV, all I hear the mainstream talk about when it comes to 2012 nominees is that Palin is already the anointed savior.

Didn’t Armstrong Williams consider voting for Obama?
A double reverse blog pimp?
Cool.
I have learned it is pointless to point out what a disaster Mrs. Palin will be as a POTUS candidate — one ruinous to Conservatives across the board.
So enjoy this pointless post.
“Conservatives are well aware of Palins shortcomings, yet the media seems to be rather blind to them at the moment.”
Sure.
RINO-PDS
I have no invested interest in ANY blog.
But I do like Iowahawk. :)
I don’t necessarily like his policies; but history thrusts me to really seriously think about it [voting for Obama]. Black conservatives tell me privately it would be very hard to vote against him in November.
Armstrong Williams, talk show host
Not this one. I CANNOT think of a single shortcoming.
I TRUST Sarah Palin. Trust is a precious thing. I wonder whom Armstrong Williams trusts.
ML/NJ
Whatever. I’m supporting and voting for Sarah in 2012 and Mr. Williams can keep on being the fifth columnist that he is already known to be.
Why can't they wait until the primary is actually underway?
What is their game?
I guess Sarah wasn’t willing to pay up, so Armstrong took the next highest bid.
Pay Armstrong the right amount of money and he’ll shape shift before your eyes.
I can’t think of any either.
Armstrong Williams has proven himself to be a conservative. I’m sorry if his calling attention to the Hollywood theatrics of the Palin family has upset the DWTS fanatics.
This is their m.o., this is why they carry MSM water, this is why they do not mind being useful idiots for the left.
I’ve often wondered what percentage of Black Republicans - be they conservative, moderate, or liberal - voted for Obama.
No real Conservative would even consider voting for Obama.
Even a black conservative....because they would know what damage he would do to black Americans in the long run.
“the mainstream talk about when it comes to 2012 nominees is that Palin is already the anointed savior.”
The MSM will only promote a Republican that the MSM thinks can be beaten. Call me crazy, but the MSM should not pick our 2012 candidate-look what they did to McCain.
