Bottom line (see page 2):

* Lugar defends his support of the START Treaty: "I really couldn't care less whether the tea party or whoever else it is, is interested. Somebody has got to be"

* Lugar defends his vote for Elena Kagan, saying that his vote makes him a "strict constructionist"

* Lugar defends illegal aliens: "To deny them is just un-American!"

This bastard is up for re-election in 2012!

Lugar is a bought and paid for CommieCrate operating under the R label for obvious reasons!

Death to all RINOs (politically speaking, of course)

RINO Lugar has always been a POS IIRC. He has to go. The guy shouldn’t have an ‘R’ by his name.

I would guess “dick” Lugar voted for Obama. Lugar is the ultimate elitist RINO that travels below the radar.

I called “dick’s” office to ask him to vote no on the SB 510.

He could care less what the people want.

Problem is that he has ran unopposed for many years. If a democrat runs against him I would vote for the democrat just to see Lugar’s time end.

“This bastard is up for re-election in 2012! “

Could be he doesn’t plan on running again! These old entrenched politicians cannot stand to see their influence fade. They still don’t believe in the CHANGE zero started. The biggest, of which, is the Tea Partiers taking back America.

You know, some recent Senate votes (Safe Foods, Earmarks) show the RINOs as so dismissive of the tea party that I would swear that they are trying to piss us off on purpose and maybe drive us to create a third party.

It seems like that would only help the Democrats but some of those snakes would do anything to avoid a primary fight. They’d rather take their chances in a general election. They all saw what happened to some of their “moderate” buddies this year in primaries(Castle, Crist...really Specter also).

While the Indiana governor acts like he’d be a great presidential candidate I have a totally different opinion.

Yesterday we watched a program with various public school commissioners discussing the initiatives taken by their state to improve the quality of education.

To hear the man from Indiana discuss that state was quite an eye opener. He considered their public school system a total disaster.

The gov can strut around like a bantam rooster but he has nothing to his credit, IMO.

Flame away!

Given the way Indiana has righted itself it is very clear that Lugar is done for.

Is their a Recall Process in Indiana - Why wait till 2012, if the people of Indiana have the ability to recall this POS. Then do it.

Lugar has had a lengthy and impressive career. Time for him to “spend time with the grandkids”.

Retire or be retired.

Why do we at FR “support” a news source that won’t let us quote them? This with the “link only” rule? In this case, there are OTHER sources for this same information. Why “advertise” for someone who won’t support FR, just post it from a friendly source.

Lugar moved to the left of Evan Bayh yesterday by voting against the ban on earmarks.

Bayh has moved pretty far right after he decided not to run again. In short, once he could tell Harry to stuff it without fear of repercussions.

Gotta wonder why a peon from Nevada that got ~30K more votes than a losing candidate from South Carolina (Green) got has so much power...

Well, then, he goes on “The List”. Take him out, politically. Time to field, right now, a GOP challenger, who is articulate, experienced and the money can be raised starting NOW.

Lugar doesn’t like uppity Tea Party Riff Raff and some other old GOP ‘Dons’ don’t either. They need to go.
