Should Hillary Clinton resign as secretary of state due to the WikiLeaks revelations? My friend Jack Shafer at Slate makes a good case. His reason: Clinton, like predecessor Condoleezza Rice, signed orders instructing U.S. foreign service officers to spy on the diplomats of other nations. Cables went out under her name telling State Department officials overseas to collect the fingerprints, facial images, DNA, and iris scans of African leaders, to obtain passwords, credit card numbers, and frequent flyer accounts used by foreign diplomats, and to gather private information on United Nations officials, including Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Depends onwho you think the enemy is, I guess.
Clandestine discussions sound sinister to me. If there is something to hide, and those discussions are less than above board and for devious purposes, then perhaps they should be revealed. Anything truly vital to America’s security should be classified, and should not be revealed. I would imagine that the material Corsi has examined covered the earlier, not the latter.
As far as Corsi’s opinion, I heard it from his own lips.
That doesn't make his opinion right. If I look at two guys - Jerome Corsi and John Bolton - I'm going to have to go with the later, every time. Bolton thinks this is horrible.
Yes, that it was possible to do is troublesome.
John Bolton would make a terrific SOS.
The Clinton’s release their files on Nobama.
Nobama releases his files on the Clintons.
That would be a great food fight that I would pay to see.
I don’t understand your response. Obama has been looking like a disgraced, embarrassed politician since the election.
The notion that this is BO’s doing is bizarre. He has absolutely nothing to gain by letting the world know he has no control over the intelligence apparatus, or his own SOS for that matter.
Yep, that was my call yesterday. I note with interest that Hillary's name is on some of the released documents (all scrutinized by various media outlets before being released), but nothing directly implicating Nobama. Just saying...
Your allegation that BO had nothing to gain by his WikiLeaks is ridiculous. It should be obvious to you that you are wrong by the majority of the posts on this thread. BO’s aims were to destroy a Clinton challenge in 2012 and his longstanding aim of destroying America.
Why are leftists offended by efforts to obtain information on foreigners but have no issue with publishing Joe The Plumber's tax and divorce records everywhere?
Crack meet pipe.
I assume that's a rhetorical question.
Who better to ask a rhetorical question to than Cicero?
“Crack meet pipe.”
U must be confusing me with your boy, BO. U know the homosexual BO who according to Mr. Larry Sinclair likes to get fellatio from older white men while he smokes crack; and the same BO who keeps his male lover, Reggie Love, at the White House; and the same BO who is a lifetime member of the Homosexual Bath House, Man’s Country.
Your love of The Beast is well established, so you don't have to belabor it.
But did it ever occur to you that if such spying was necessary, having the Secretary of State explicitly detail it, sign it, and mailbomb it under such low security clearance that a PFC could steal it and upload it to the Net, would establish that SoS as "ridiculously stupid and dangerously naive"?
Despite your naive strutting, international law still has to be respected in many ways - epsecially by the SoS. Hillary's signature on this order just reiterates the belligerent screwup she's always been, and always will be.
"right wing nazi"?
Really, you should just keep your mouth shut. Every time I read one of your posts, you more completely confirm my suspicions of you.
Do yourself a favor, and google SIPRnet. After that, take this week's paycheck and buy yourself a clue, sport.
So true. Good post.
Suspicions? LOL. I have no suspicions about you - your posts make you perfectly clear.
The cables were classified SECRET/NOFORN, and both the SIPR and NIPR nets STILL allow machines with flashdrive ports and CD-ROM burners. The use of such low security for such politically damaging information was either rank incompetence, or more Clinton treason.
Which utterly damning, ever-repeated Hillary screwup explanation do YOU prefer, sport?
Yep, you’re a genius. Keep telling yourself that, champ. Positive reinforcement is important for the feebly minded.
