Reminds me of the scene from “Enemy at the Gates”. Nikita Kruschev overseeing Pravda and all that’s asked of the sniper hero.

Hard core leftists like Screamin' Howard Dean are really totalitarians at heart and always see themselves as part of the elite ruling class looking down their noses at the rest of us. So, this latest insanity from Dean is hardly shocking but stupid and revealing of his elitist mindset. Howard is whacked and his classic unjustified arrogance is almost amusing - but still annoying. However, Howard Dean has been irrelevant for some time and this kind of outburst insures he'll remain so.

I like free speech, BUT how about we make an exception for Howard Dean, because he's just an idiot, right? So say we write a anti-idiot doctrine to exclude him from opening his mouth, because he's not good for the country.
How does that sound?
Howard, the “fairness doctrine” was only remotely constitutional because networks were only on the public airwaves... guess what, new inventions, CABLE!, sat radio, the Internet, over!
So Howie, if something is missing, why don't YOU put up the money and start a cable network that is “balanced” and if you get ratings you'll know that its a success.

Nice how they are now trying to equate FOX with the lunatic haters from MSNBC.

With the mood of the country and the ratings FOX has, they are bulletproof. Plus half their top tier commentators have highly rated radio shows to go around this BS. Dean and all the other commie pinkos can stuff it. They can do what they want with PMSLSD. Nobody watches. Nobody cares.

Also, all recordings of Fox News broadcasts must be turned over to the Ministry of Truth for later editing so that there won't be any tapes of Glenn Beck warning us of war with Eastasia when we know that we have always been at war with Eurasia.

You think we have it wrong on the 14th & 17th... It's difficult enough following Deans train of thought at the best of times but he completely lost me here. What is the Tea party position on the election of Senators that he disapproves of?

What is the Tea party position on the election of Senators that he disapproves of? This is my GUESS! Take it for what you pay for it ... [grin].
The 14th Amendment is the Post-Civil War Citizenship Amendment (passed to give the former slaves inarguable Citizenship) that many think makes it too easy to for foreigners to create "Anchor Babies" simply by US Territory birth. IMHO Democrats want unleashed immigration for new voters thus no messing with the 14th.
The 17th is the 1913 Progressive Era Amendment that made for US Senators to be popularly elected. Many consider this the death of FEDERALISM as it removed the strongest prop of State power over an expansive Federal Government.
MY OPINION, take it or leave it!

A nurse picks out little Howie’s clothes and soft foods for him so it probably makes sense from his perspective.

Well you could be right on the 14th. I had thought he was referring to the "priveleges and immunities" in the context of the Arizona Law on illegals.
Many consider this the death of FEDERALISM as it removed the strongest prop of State power over an expansive Federal Government.
Did they repeal the tenth without telling us ?
