What is the Tea party position on the election of Senators that he disapproves of?

This is my GUESS! Take it for what you pay for it ... [grin].

The 14th Amendment is the Post-Civil War Citizenship Amendment (passed to give the former slaves inarguable Citizenship) that many think makes it too easy to for foreigners to create "Anchor Babies" simply by US Territory birth. IMHO Democrats want unleashed immigration for new voters thus no messing with the 14th.

The 17th is the 1913 Progressive Era Amendment that made for US Senators to be popularly elected. Many consider this the death of FEDERALISM as it removed the strongest prop of State power over an expansive Federal Government.

MY OPINION, take it or leave it!

Well you could be right on the 14th. I had thought he was referring to the "priveleges and immunities" in the context of the Arizona Law on illegals.

Many consider this the death of FEDERALISM as it removed the strongest prop of State power over an expansive Federal Government.

Did they repeal the tenth without telling us ?
