First, Gloria Allred tells Sean Hannity she enjoyed the pat-down she received at the hands of the TSA. Now, liberal commentator Susan Estrich tells the TSA in an op-ed they "...can poke away all..." they want if it will keep her safe.
Citing the so-called "underwear bomber", Estrich says she's fine with the "inconvenience" even if it means "elderly ladies" carrying one-way tickets get selected for scans.
In her piece, she cites politicians and conservatives for fanning the controversy:
A revolt is apparently growing at the grassroots level being fanned by politicians and right-wing talking heads against the new procedures being used by the TSA to ensure that people with bombs and weapons don't get on airplanes with you and me and our loved ones. If you ask me, it's ridiculous. The revolt, I mean.
But she fails to mention that it was the ACLU who instructed passengers to petition the TSA to stop the pat-downs:
"All of us have a right to travel without such crude invasions of our privacy. Tell DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to put in place security measures that respect passengers' privacy rights. You shouldn't have to check your rights when you check your luggage."
Is Estrich now implying the ACLU is a "right wing" organization?
She wrote that, "...bomb-sniffing dogs have located a suspicious package at Logan Airport...", which is a good thing, but does not justify the intrusive methods used by the TSA. Were the packages screened by the body scanners, or patted down by gloved agents? No, they probably were not.

The burning question is: Would Laz hit that?
With libtards, the jokes write themselves . . .
Rights are for terrorists and communists who wish to destroy the US. Rights are not for citizens because that gets in the way of destroying the Constitution and establishing the socialist utopia. When you understand what the objective is, the dismantling of the greatest country in the history of world, there is no inconsistency at all.
They don’t even pretend not to be fascists anymore.
few guys would venture in there, either one.
First time in years anyone has touched Estrich on purpose.
Skank is an understatement.
Susan was a rape victim and for her to talk like this is irresponsible to many other women who do not like to be groped by strange men or women and be reminded of it.
WITHOUT a ten-foot pole?? Whoa...
