First, Gloria Allred tells Sean Hannity she enjoyed the pat-down she received at the hands of the TSA. Now, liberal commentator Susan Estrich tells the TSA in an op-ed they "...can poke away all..." they want if it will keep her safe.
Citing the so-called "underwear bomber", Estrich says she's fine with the "inconvenience" even if it means "elderly ladies" carrying one-way tickets get selected for scans.
In her piece, she cites politicians and conservatives for fanning the controversy:
A revolt is apparently growing at the grassroots level being fanned by politicians and right-wing talking heads against the new procedures being used by the TSA to ensure that people with bombs and weapons don't get on airplanes with you and me and our loved ones. If you ask me, it's ridiculous. The revolt, I mean.
But she fails to mention that it was the ACLU who instructed passengers to petition the TSA to stop the pat-downs:
"All of us have a right to travel without such crude invasions of our privacy. Tell DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to put in place security measures that respect passengers' privacy rights. You shouldn't have to check your rights when you check your luggage."
Is Estrich now implying the ACLU is a "right wing" organization?
She wrote that, "...bomb-sniffing dogs have located a suspicious package at Logan Airport...", which is a good thing, but does not justify the intrusive methods used by the TSA. Were the packages screened by the body scanners, or patted down by gloved agents? No, they probably were not.

And to all of you who think that the TSA loves doing these patdowns, remember for every Catherine Zeta Jones they may get to pat down, there are far more Susan Estriches they have to pat down. Who enjoy it!!! Yes, the TSA have a hard job!
And you can be sure if this was the Bush administration doing this, Susan Estrich would be howling in protest. I’m sure she did when they were tapping terrorists in other country’s phone calls without a warrant. Can’t listen in on a phone conversation an enemy of our country is having, but go ahead and invade my body without a warrant...
It’s all beside the point. The fact that someone is willing to give up their right not to be illegally searched is immaterial. And Susan is a lawyer. She knows that. You’re exactly right.
She’s hiding something in her mouth....................
For free even.
Normally she’s buy sexual.
LOL! First Gloria Allred, now Susan Estrich. Looks like the TSA patdowns and feel-ups are a pseudo-date for those two.
“Gloria Allred tells Sean Hannity she enjoyed the pat-down”
And if someone told a joke that might be considered sexual harassment if you used extreme imagination, Allread would be trotting him into court in a skinny minute. But rubbing, fondling and groping are perfectly OK. The mind of a liberal is truly astonishing.
Just the thought of patting down Susan Estrich is...urp...
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Susan Estrogen would have to beg for a pat down, and even then, would get no takers, even from the lezbos.
Just the sound of her voice would scare the frogs.
"I don't care about that royalty crap. Touch me there and you're dead, Charlie."
Susan would probably even go as far as to "sober-up" for the occasion.
But Susan - it doesn't keep you or the rest of us safe! It is kabuki-theater security.
Liberals are clever in width, but stupid in depth. That’s why they never understand what they’re saying.
The thought of this is just nasty, nasty I tell ya.
The libs will happily trade away their Fourth Amendment rights for a bit of touchy-feely — for the rest of us. No thanks.
Note: I think I heard that she'd been raped, not that that should have any bearing on this TSA groping business.
Given the Manson women, Squeeky Frome, Bernadine Dohrn, etc. etc. prominent female liberal activist law professor types should be profiled aggressively and detained for questioning and thorough searches.
I'm sure the passengers would prefer it that way, especially if it meant not having to sit next to someone with a voice a demeanor and disposition like Mike Dukakis’s campaign manager.
Estrich wrote “Real Rape” and mentioned her own experience somewhere, either in that book or another, but you may be thinking of Susan Brownmiller who wrote “Against Our Will.”
Put your money away, Susan.
You’re not allowed to pay the Groper for a good feel.
TSA Gropes are free to the Gropee, compliments of the US taxpayer.
From what I can tell, the Left thinks,
“I will give up all my rights because the government always knows what they're doing.
Government knows best. We all know that. Anyone who disagrees is a racist, homophobe, controlled by George Bush!
Can ANYONE, show even a single example of ANY government EVER doing anything that would hurt or even inconvenience their own people?
No. It's never happened. Case closed.”
TSA to Susan Estrogen: NO THANKS!
