First, Gloria Allred tells Sean Hannity she enjoyed the pat-down she received at the hands of the TSA. Now, liberal commentator Susan Estrich tells the TSA in an op-ed they "...can poke away all..." they want if it will keep her safe.
Citing the so-called "underwear bomber", Estrich says she's fine with the "inconvenience" even if it means "elderly ladies" carrying one-way tickets get selected for scans.
In her piece, she cites politicians and conservatives for fanning the controversy:
A revolt is apparently growing at the grassroots level being fanned by politicians and right-wing talking heads against the new procedures being used by the TSA to ensure that people with bombs and weapons don't get on airplanes with you and me and our loved ones. If you ask me, it's ridiculous. The revolt, I mean.
But she fails to mention that it was the ACLU who instructed passengers to petition the TSA to stop the pat-downs:
"All of us have a right to travel without such crude invasions of our privacy. Tell DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to put in place security measures that respect passengers' privacy rights. You shouldn't have to check your rights when you check your luggage."
Is Estrich now implying the ACLU is a "right wing" organization?
She wrote that, "...bomb-sniffing dogs have located a suspicious package at Logan Airport...", which is a good thing, but does not justify the intrusive methods used by the TSA. Were the packages screened by the body scanners, or patted down by gloved agents? No, they probably were not.

Susan found somebody to touch her?
Actually - wasn’t she raped as an undergraduate or a law student? Possibly I am confusing her with someone else.
At which point several hundred TSA flunkies resigned en masse.
20 foot pole manufactures are elated.
Susan Estrich may be the only one who thinks freedom is something we should give up for a little temporary safety. I still don’t want TSA to touch my junk.
She has to get it anyway she can.
I have relatives who are happy to be throughly fondled, because that will keep us safe. They also feel that Muslim women should be allowed on the plane without any searching, because we must be sensitive to other cultures.
It's all about "I'm a good person: I have nothing to hide from TSA." and "I'm a good person: I don't hate or fear Muslims."
The Left never thinks: "I support the Constitution: I don't care if you think that makes me good or bad, I just know that it is the law of the land."
It may be the only time she can get an orgasm. What’s really amazing is that feminists have now gotten to the point where’s its ok for a woman’s body to be violated - as long as its the government that’s committing the violation!
What a shocka!
I am glad I didn’t have a mouth full of coffee.
It's the most action her or Gloria Allred have had in years.....
We dhimmis have to put up with being humiliated so those who want to kill us can get on board any way. I wouldn’t feel safer flying the skies.
These people would be absolutely hysterical about this if there was a Republican in the White House.
If Bush were still President, all of the liberals who presently insist that airport security sexual abuse is “necessary” or “no big deal” would be marching in the streets or else screaming for investigations. And they wonder why no one believes their bullcrap any more.
I don't know which is worse...
Now you can enjoy sex - as long as its from government workers. Hey, its equal opportunity molestation!
“Now, liberal commentator Susan Estrich tells the TSA in an op-ed they “...can poke away all...” they want”
Considering the way she looks and sounds, that’s the probably the most attention she ever got in her life.
A sad thing to see.
The people will fight this and prevail.
