The articles published today and in coming days are based on thousands of United States embassy cables, the daily reports from the field intended for the eyes of senior policy makers in Washington. The New York Times and a number of publications in Europe were given access to the material several weeks ago and agreed to begin publication of articles based on the cables Sunday online. The Times believes that the documents serve an important public interest, illuminating the goals, successes, compromises and frustrations of American diplomacy in a way that other accounts cannot match.

I have to surmise that whoever has the “real” leaked stuff has doubtless edited them to favor whatever his or her world view is.
Rest assured that the NYT is working closely with Obama's team to insure that only certain things get published.
Excellent point!!! There is no news anymore, only propaganda and editorialized “reports.”
TRAITORS nothing else explains this. The 0bidude bunch approves of this too, make no mistake about that!
Treasonous bedwetters.
Somewhere on the wrong side of the RIver Styx Josef Goebells is grinning broadly.
Actually, from what I have read of it, it reveals Bambi to be the America-hating jerk that he is. So it’s actually a little surprising that they would publish it.
You bet! We should also demand that all the Times' inter-office memos, from Sulzberger on down, be made public along with transcripts of all editorial meetings and board meetings. All emails involving Times' business including communications with bureaus and individual reporters should be made public. No more secrets!
Liberals are masters at rationalizing unethical or unpatriotic behavior. Simple as that, especially in the case of the New York Times which doesn’t even require any rationalization to live up to their reputation.
The documents are said to contain the names of Afghani informants against the Taliban, and if so, then they will be slaughtered by the Taliban, along with their families. These dearhs will be on Assange's head.Cute , tricksy wicksy," whistle blowing," Assange will have become an active, willful participant in espionage, instead of a "mere reporter."
What that means is that Assange will himself become a target. By this time next year Assange will not be breathing Gods good air IMHO.
Assange gets Leftist Darwin Award for stupid, asinine killing of whole families of Afghanis.
“Clinton Orders US Diplomats To Spy On Other Countries at UN...”
Obama nipping a key primary challenger in the bud?
Such treasonous acts only provide for superficial anti-American rhetoric and hostility.
I would love to see the emails and internal memos of the NYTs hacked and released!
The Slimes has always been treacherous.
They can drop dead for all I care.
The pigs at the NY Slimes are obviously worried about indictment.God only knows why....it’s not as if we have an Attorney General or anything.
I hate these scum, just hate them. Treasonous bastards, I hope they are ready for the problems they are about to cause.
