I say we open the NYTimes building to anyone who wants to go in. No security, no police. Fair?

You bet! We should also demand that all the Times' inter-office memos, from Sulzberger on down, be made public along with transcripts of all editorial meetings and board meetings. All emails involving Times' business including communications with bureaus and individual reporters should be made public. No more secrets!

NYC rumor has it that for gays, the NY Times has an open-door policy already.

I’m highly suspicious that Manning being militantly against DADT had an impact on the paper’s decision to publish.
