I’d like to see her bake some berry pies on her show.. from scratch.. use lard, butter.. fresh berries.. I’m in.. ;-)

Alaska is berry rich in the pie and jelly product areas.. no wonder so many bears live there.

I can never bring enough wild berry preserves and such back when we visit.

She appears to be for it

She appears to be for it? If you don't know, say you don't know. Palin is very much against Cap and Trade, and she calls it Cap and Tax. Her position is easy thing to discover. Start with her autobiography. Or her Facebook page--or just Google her name and the term. This, for instance, is from her Facebook page:

"I’ve made no secret of the fact that I think cap-and-tax could potentially be more disastrous to our economy than Obamacare because it would devastate our businesses and cripple our energy and industrial sectors."

But she was for it in 2007. How does she get around that?

What about freepers who aren't’t sure who they want?

Sincere Freepers who actually don't know who they support should be welcome to any thread IMHO.

It's the ones who claim to be unaffiliated and aren't anything but shrill critics while they hide their true allegiance that I can't stand.

Hey Sarah - put a certified copy of your birth certificate out there for all to see loud and clear!

“I am troubled that she did not finish her full term as Governor.”

You are sitting too close to the Kool-Aid, step away from the bar.

Do NOT buy off on the mantra from the MSM, Rats, RINO’s, lib’s, mouth breathing small brained fence sitters and the rest of the kooks. Instead, look at why she did it and what she has done for our country over the past two years.

Palin 2012..... God is blessing America, again.

Ping ‘em and I hope it stings ‘em. It’s all true. Everyone knows there was a “groupthink” mentality here... especially during the first few years of his administration... and locking “A Day in the Life” threads as caucus threads was cultist.

Conservatives should be independent thinkers, not water carriers for whichever Republican happens to be President at the time.

If FR would have been around in the 70’s, we would have “Nixonfan” and “Day in the Life” threads all the while defending Watergate.

What about freepers who aren’t sure who they want?

They need to read the book The Top Ten Moderate Ideas that made America Great, by Lue Dobs.

How to make Quick Decisions in 100 easy steps, by Woody Allen.

I've been a Palin supporter for some time and seeing her commentary on Fox News and watching her going through the never-ending battles with the media have only convinced me that, today, she is the best hope for the Republican party in 2012 (as the presidential nominee). I have absolutely no interest in RINOs like Romney and Huckabee and, like you, I can remember Reagan in 1979-80 getting the same kind of flack from the GOP hierarchy along with the usual derision from the left; "stupid, over the hill B-movie actor, senile, a puppet for smart but diabolical puppet masters that give him a scrip to read" and, my favorite: "you can't be serious...an ACTOR as president!

The left-wing mocking and ridicule intended to destroy Reagan's credibility as a potential president was intense but ultimately failed, big-time. As I've stated before, Palin isn't Reagan (and this isn't 1980) but she is a principled conservative, has executive experience, is grounded, resilient and has charisma to spare, just as Reagan did in his time. The usual Democrat head-fake of pretending that they really, really want the GOP to nominate Sarah Palin because she's sooooo 'easy to beat' is hardly convincing because it simply indicates what Republican politician the left really fears. Thanks for the heads-up, Democrats.

I would happily cast my vote for Sarah Palin in my state's Republican primary and be delighted to vote for her in the presidential election in 2012. I truly believe Sarah Palin would be a great president and I have full confidence that she could easily beat Obama. That some FReepers still sneer at Palin and act disdainful toward those who endorse her are unfortunate but part of an open forum that has to allow more than one point of view on specific issues, especially potential Republican Party presidential candidates. I'm just a bit disappointed that a thread that clearly and specifically asked for Palin supporters only still draws anti-Palin posts. However, we all make our choices and I chose Sarah Palin as 'my' candidate for president on the Republican ticket in November, 2012.

AKA the Romneybots. Cowards, just like their candidate and his RINO overlords.

Anthony Kennedy... and even more worrisome, Scalia is getting up in years isn’t he?

Hope he doesn’t accept any holiday food baskets from the Obamas...

Here's a good EC map which allows you set it for the EC Vote based upon the 2010 census, and then select 08 results based upon competitive or very competitive states and then change those outcomes back and forth giving you a total EC vote as they change. The different combinations to get to 270 can make for some interesting strategies I'd think.

Regarding the presidency though, I am troubled that she did not finish her full term as Governor.

And I'm concerned that Obama spent 2 years as a U.S. senator & did NOTHING but campaign.

AKA the Romneybots. Cowards

There seem to be quite a few of those around, they cover themselves up and do nothing but criticize.

There are a few others that are around, but I have no idea who they really support.

I also know there are lots of people who aren't sure and are waiting to see what shakes out. I can handle that, it's an honest position to take.

“The only thing that scares me about her is the hate she inspires in lefties.”

I understand your concern, but ANY conservative they think might win, will bring out the same reaction from those brainless dweebs.

Don’t be afraid. We will win.....
