She doesn't usually need a teleprompter because she believes what she says

That is the ability to see that the law is done regardless of her personal beliefs. Personally, I am an agnostic and libertarian, and when I see that she vetoed a law that denied benefits to same-sex couples in Alaska -- not because of her religious beliefs, but because it was unconstitutional according to the Alaskan constitution -- I stand up and cheer. A governor putting her beliefs first would approve the law and take their chances with the court, but Palin chose the novel path of obeying her oath of office. A president is a servant of the people charged with enforcing the constitution and protecting the people from all enemies of the USA. It is not for the president or a governor to "interpret" or otherwise circumvent the law. When asked about the veto, Palin responded that if people wish to change the constitution, then there is a process for that.

I just don’t see anyone out their that wows me. By that I mean staunch conservative with the charisma and intuitive quick wits that can capture the imagination of the country. I guess I’m looking for Ronald Reagan and don’t see him/her out there.
I like Sarah a lot but I’m still on the fence.

Sarah is the only one that I can truly see getting into the White House and shaking up Washington like no one else ever did. She’s warned about if she gets there she’s going to do things. Things the pols will have a hard time with.

Teleprompters are for people who lie and have to prepare speeches of lies to prevent their lies from crossing each other.

Not to be picky here but “I will CONSIDER running for President....” does not come even close to a “Promise”. A promise starts like this: I promise to .....

That is why I will raise $2 million dollars for her campaign and I urge everyone here to do whatever they can to make sure she is the nominee and elected.

(Thanks for posting the article.)
“to do the job “
AND that’s what it’s all about ladies and gentleman. Doing the JOB.
Unfortunately, many of our Presidents think it is like an OSCAR. They WON, then they live out their life in luxury, traveling the world on a non-stop vacation.
To US it’s a JOB, to them it’s the opportunity to have unlimited power and rule over others.

I think Sara Palin would make a great RNC Chairman!!!
She knows how to motivate people to follow Our Constitution.
Perhaps she is just trying to get some great “Conservative Constitutionalist” to throw his Hat in the Ring

Good article.
`The Republican Party “insiders” are just as deep in the corruption and aristocratic thinking as the liberal elites.’
See: Romney, McCain, Graham, Lugar, Rove, Dubya and all the rest of the GOP “moderates.”
Six of one or a half dozen “progressives.”

First really nail-on-the-head Palin piece I've seen. This guy repeats everything i have said here about Sarah over the past yaer-and-a-half, and added in some new exceptional reasons why she's the only one.
Madame President..... mmm, mmm, mmmMMM!

Just in case you didn't already see it...here is an excerpt from an article yesterday that proves the American aristocracy is in cahoots - right or left is just an illusion created to fool the people who end up paying the bills:
Here is a table of all eight lawmakers whose 2009 personal financial disclosure forms, which were filed in May, noted holdings in L-3 Communications, along with the minimum and maximum value of these holdings, according to the Centers research.
Name Value
Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) $500,001 to $1,000,000
Rep. Michael Castle (R-Del) $16,002 to $65,000
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) $16,002 to $65,000
Rep. Judy Biggert (R-Ill.) $15,001 to $50,000
Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.) $1,001 to $15,000
Rep. Robert Scott (D-Va.) $1,001 to $15,000
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) $2,173
Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-Texas) $2,086
The governments investment in full-body scanners has broadened since the underwear bombers failed terrorism attempt last Christmas. Days later, L-3 Communications was awarded a $165 million contract for the machines, and another company, RapiScan, was also awarded a $173 million contract.
Both companies have seen significant jumps in their federal lobbying expenses since just a few years ago, and both are employing officials with well-heeled government connections, as OpenSecrets Blog previously reported.
For instance, RapiScan utilizes the services of Michael Chertoff, the secretary of Homeland Security under Republican President George W. Bush. And former Republican Sen. Alfonse DAmato (R-N.Y.) and Linda Daschle, the wife of former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.), are both actively lobbying for L-3 Communications.

I guess Reagan is such a mythical character because of the failures of many high-profile Republicans who’ve come after him. Even his cabinet members and aides are all RINOs in their current manifestation. And not a whole lot was done to stamp out the emerging jihad during his two terms. I see a lot more than Reagan in Gov. Palin and I hope she runs, but I’ll be happy for her whatever she decides to do.
