To raise awareness of the Fed’s failure to fulfill its mandates of maximum employment and stable prices I am asking for silver for Christmas.

This should wake a few people up to what the fed is when they go shopping for a silver coin or trinket.

Military Pegs Hourly Air Force One Cost at $181G, as Obama Sets Travel Record

Published November 24, 2010 | FoxNews.com

The average American could buy a house for the amount of money it takes to run Air Force One every hour.

The U.S. military has provided an updated estimate on that cost, first published by a taxpayer watchdog group and confirmed by FoxNews.com, and the number is staggering — $181,757 per hour. That’s the price tag for shuttling around President Obama, who, as it turns out, has spent more days abroad in his first two years than any other president.

The problem is that no one has suggested that there is a new paradigm. The old assumption that we can create jobs no longer works—the government doesn't create jobs manufacturing outsources jobs, business and banking jobs are taken by those with education and connections. Jobs in science and technology have been swallowed up by highly motivated and highly educated Asians. Jobs in computer science are now found in India and China. Jobs in the service economy are minimum wage or lower; many are filled by immigrant workers, legal or illegal. I sure don't have any answers, but I know that there are simply too many people with no way to begin to earn a living. (Not everyone can set up shop as a plumber, a carpenter, start a catering service, clean houses, etc.) The issue is, perhaps, unanswerable. The human race experienced a jarring shift going from hunter-gatherer to farmer. Another jarring shift happened with manufacturing. We are in the third jarring shift, moving into a world where computers and machines now do the work of people. Soon, even cleaning houses, gardening, repairing roads, and packing cans will not be an option. With seven billion people now in the world, please explain how they might earn a living.
