Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.
"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."
Bush, along with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, spoke to CNN's Larry King in an interview set to air Monday.

Who knew that Barbara Bush posts on FR?
Stay out da Bushes. Their pro-illegals amnesty goals cloud rational thought.
Not surprising that this would be the response to Gov. Palin. Also, take note of whom they agreed to have interview them.
The Bushes seem to be very happy in Texas. Let’s hope they stay there.

I’m so sorry to hear that Barbara Bush isn’t still in silent retirement.
“what is it with the ruling class? The Bush family..all of them owe there political existance to Reagan...no one else.”
AMEN! The Peanut Farmer would’ve beaten Poppy in ‘80.
Two lessons here:
1. The Bushs are and always have been part of the ruling elite which includes a lot of Republicans, and while not socialists like O and crew, they are still big, benevolent government types, and,
2. because they are “nice guys”, or people we like and feel a connection to, does not mean we should vote for them or that they would make good representatives.
I’d say Barb has been pretty traumatized by the beating Dubya took in elite opinion. Jumping on Palin is an easy way for her to regain cred with them.
I would prefer to have Sarah Palin as my president than another country-club RINO. She does not crave or pursue power for power’s sake but humbly bends her knee and bows her head to God Almighty. For THIS and loving America unashamedly, she has been deemed by the so-called political elites to be unelectable and targeted for destruction. Should she run for and win the presidency in 2012, I could truly die a happy woman for I would know my country was in truly competent hands. (Unlike the cadre of Marxists in the White Hut now.)
Amen to that. In the meantime, Senior Bush might be pleased to know that his hispanic omigos might get a stealth bill to vote out Palin:

Whatever happened to the idea the first ladies are suppose to be “cordial and gracious”? Me-thinks Barbara wants to dis anyone who isn’t JEB. Please, Bush family, go away. Your time is up. Your reign is over. Just a thought.
That family has done a heck of a lot of damage to this country.
Yup.
Whoops, nevermind. Got Laura and Barbara confused.
Don’t try to fight it Barbara hehehehe...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrGw_cOgwa8
Barbara Bush took a cheap shot at Sarah Palin and she smiled like she had made a great sarcastic statement.
She was much better thought of when she was keeping her mouth shut.
One of the best decisions the Bush’s ever made was to leave poffice and keep quiet. It’s a good move they should stick to.
The globalists are scared of Sarah. BB/GHWB doing Larry King ...that will draw a room full of viewers.
