John Thune voted for S510...the Senate bill enabling the FDA to have wide Regulation Authority over the food supply. Sorry folks but I still say DeMint is the man to watch...and of Course Sarah Palin despite her support for RINO McCain..
I took my link from the actual government tracking of S150.
What to watch for is who spoke out against this bill prior to passage. Anybody? heh Hello, anyone? Probably not.
If they speak out now, well, it is too late.
So yes, Thune stinks.
Thune voted against it.
I provided the ink to the Senate website site.
Why is Thune getting attacked?
I see Manchin is already voting like a lib.

I think you need to verify things first attacking people.
Whoa! Keep your hands off my junk...LOL! Just kidding.. I have NO Problem with Palin repaying McCain for his picking her for his VP by campaigning for him..Just stating that “some” people do see that as a problem.
Ypu started this thread and need to recant the hate on Thune, who is a good conservative.
I agree. Thing is, I never heard from any of our potential candidates on this one.
Okay, lets listen to all the excuses.
The silence is quite pronounced.
Does anyone have the final count on who voted for SB 510 and who failed to warn us?
Call Thune and give him the word that he’s going to be voted out.
I’m getting different results from different websites...Several say he voted NAY..yet a few say he voted for Cloture which basicly allows the bill to proceed..(as good as a YEA vote!) So ...sorry if this isn’t clear but he allowed the VOTE to go forward.....Just as bad..
Why? He voted against it and the thread starter got this wrong.
Thanks for the clarification. I’m glad he didn’t vote for this thing.
Posted the direct link to the Senate website - is that not good enough?
Someone needs to set the record straight.
Thune got a bad rap, thanks to The American Thinker.
I didn’t start it to “hate” on Thune...Just disappointed in someone who would Vote on Cloture for this bill allowing it to go forward! Sorry for those who like Thune....But he basicly voted for the bill...
I like Thune, and other than Sarah, hope he is att he top of our list for 2012.
I also want to know wherethe thread starter is getting info from as we posted the direct Senate link. If he has something better, I wish he would provide it.
Seemed out of character, although I don’t know all that much about him.
Source?
Different votes.
He voyed FOR cloture (vote 250), then voted AGAINST the motion to proceed (vote 251). I have no idea why that is done.
