But … I thought they were friends. Well, acquaintances. Sort of:
She had spent most of her time [on election day] ensconced at the Fox television studios, though she managed to squeeze in a jog in Central Park which she promptly chronicled on Twitter: Beautiful! Also at the studios was her fellow Fox News contributor Karl Rove, who had recently questioned in a British newspaper whether Palins new reality TV series, Sarah Palins Alaska, made her appear Oval Office-worthy. The building was abuzz over what would ensue when the two would inevitably bump into each other. The moment came after Palin finished a segment with the anchor Bret Baier and saw Rove lingering stageside with Brit Hume, a Fox colleague, holding a well-marked copy of Alaska for Dummies a prop clearly intended to mollify Palin. She laughed, used her phones camera to take a picture of Rove with the book, traded brief hellos and then left the studio without mentioning Roves earlier comment.
The clip’s unclear, actually. At first it sounds like he’s telling her to man up and stop whining, but then, perhaps thinking better of that, he shifts his aim to her famously devoted supporters. Not the first time this week that a prominent Republican’s accused her of being thin-skinned, either. In the same NYT piece quoted above, Mary Matalin’s quoted as saying, “She gives as good as she gets. But I dont know her well enough to know if shes developed the thick skin you need to be endlessly resilient, the way Reagan could take things for decades and let them roll off his back.”
In fact, this isn’t even the first time this week that a Fox News commentator has thrown a few jabs at her vis-a-vis her show. I guess the 2012 primary season really, truly is upon us. Exit question: On a RINO scale of one to 10, with one being Jim DeMint and 10 being Lisa Murkowski, where does this segment leave Rove? (Exit answer: 12.)
The sad thing is that FNC has “Pumpkin Head” on just about every night. The only people with larger heads than Karl Rove either march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade or are Minor League Baseball mascots.
Memo to Tokyo Rove:
Sod off Establishment Snob.
He certainly has.
LLS
I’ve pretty much given up on FNC...I’m getting carpal tunnel from using the remote every time this toadstool pops up...Beck is the only ‘Rove-free’ program left...
Rove, we gave you and your man 8 years. You squandered them. Now go away.
What does your alphabet soup TLC crap mean?
Rove did come out and say that Lisa Murkowski was “sad and sorry,” and could not win a write-in campaign. But, as far as I know, he didn’t say it when she started gaining. And he didn’t say it early, either, until he was pushed.

>>>Ive pretty much given up on FNC...
I did that in 2006. FNC is not conservative. They’re just not as overtly liberal as the rest of the lamestream media so they get a lot of crap.
I believe Gov. Palin has shown herself not to have a ‘thin skin’. Ever since Sen. McCain name her as his v-p, she has been bombarded daily with insults; her children have been vilified; lies told about her, a writer moves next door to spy on her and her family; lots of lawyers sent to Alaska to dig for anything bad including gossip. And she still smiles and goes her way. Occasionally she will respond to something;I think she should do this. President Bush never did: thank you Carl Rove.
The RNC should just give Carl his gold watch and send him on his way. He did great work back in the day but time moves on. He and the old RNC had their ass handed to them by Obama and the Democrats in 2008. They were out maneuvered every step of the way.
Had it not been for the Tea Party 2010 would have been one more lackluster performance for the Republicans. How many moderates and Democrat lights would have been on the tickets? Voters wanted a change and not more of the same only less. He missed it, the RNC missed it and best of all the Democrats missed it. If you want to lead you have got to be out in front.
Carl either lead, follow or get out of the way.
RINO Rove is an arrogant, woman-hating POS. He is irrelevant.
Rove really ought to stop reminding me that having him support a political person or organization is a warning to run the other way. He is so full of his nasty, elitist self. He’s another one who could not find it in him to fight the left but loves attacking the voters in his own party! What is with these Rino idiots?
Note to Karl: Touchy, touchy!
Who gives a RINO’s tail what Rove thinks about anything? The establishment is freaking out because they know Americans cannot stand a phony: Huck, Mitt, et al. Rove desperately wants to preserve the status quo of Party hack corruption... What’s the matter Karl? Are you afraid of a girl? LOL at the spineless twerp.
Palin Supporters to Karl Rove: Stop whining about our criticism of your RINO-progressive debt-producing policies and support of 0bama-lite politicians like Mitt Romney.
