The Rep Senatorial Committee supported Murkowski all along, since she is part of the good-old-boy establishment club in DC. We need to retake the Senate in 2012 and put more Tea-party candidate in. I hope Murkowski goes Dem, and ends up in the minority party in 2012.

Republican need to learn how to win for a change?

They won thats the problem the establishment won in Alaska Delaware Nevada NY23 they win when conservatism loses dont you see?

People view the establishment Republicans like Rove Cornyn Murkowski as our allies they are not they are in bed with the radicals in the Democrat party.

They view democrats winning against conservatives as victories then turn around and blame us for failing.

Dont doubt me I am telling you folks dont doubt me...

Hey, if it was a legitimate win - with all those people writing and misspelling her name - then let the people have who they want.

You don’t know that.

And all the many thousands of write-in votes that were allowed in violation of the law that stated the write-in candidate's name must be correctly spelled to count.

They must yank her from her committee seats. She is NOT GOP any longer. We let them slide before with the caveat she would be gone come January. Well, so much for that crap.

Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski wins re-election to Senate, becoming the first Senate candidate in more than 50 years to win a write-in campaign.

And given her lack of popularity doesn't this feat seem beyond imagination, seriously beyond believable?

It doesn’t matter. She broke no law when she decided to run as a “write-in” candidate. And guess what. She won the election that matters.

So, will she be a registered Independent and caucus with the Democrats?

She ran as a declared Republican write-in. She'll caucus with the GOP.
