I am confident that by now, you have all read about Sarah Palin's Alaska program. I'm also confident that you have all been witness to the MSM's overtime/overkill effort to destroy Sarah Palin's reputation.
One of the barrage of tactics the MSM has been resorting to is to brand Sarah Palin's Alaska as a "reality tv" show. Some of your have been guilty of assisting the MSM by posting stories which include the description of this particular show as being a "reality" program.
I would like to encourage all my fellow Freepers out there to call the show what it really is; a travel program. Let us refrain from helping the MSM in their consumed desire to destroy the Palin family's reputation and political endeavors.
I kind of agree with you. If this were a family on the left I suspect that most of us would be calling them a dysfunctional family of attention-seekers looking to cash in.

I’ll vote for anybody on the GOP ticket to get Obama out of office. This Palin or noone else idea is going to leave us with another 4 years of Obama. I wouldn’t vote for Palin in the primary though.

It’s a bit more than not liking reality TV, isn’t it?
Absolutely correct.
Wow, didn’t realise the Palin Gang’s 100% fealty to all things Sarah Palin had extended to where you have to like her reality TV show.
Although if Sarah Palin went to the bridge to nowhere and had to answer a question from the bridge Troll to cross, now that would be good reality TV viewing.
And exactly my point. Look at my posts, occasionally I’ll enter into a Palin thread, mostly not, most of my replies have nothing to do with the Presidential elections. But no, I do not think that Palin is the best choice for President, and that does not make me a troll!!!! (and I’m not a Romney, Huckabee, or anybody else out there so far devotee), I do however thing we can come up with a better candidate instead of a “retread” from previous elections.
Nobody better do any critique that isn’t 100% favorable.
Reminds me of a Twilight Zone where a little boy wishes folks to the cornfield unless they agree with him all the time. LOL
Thank you Renee !
cowards and/or RINO and/or Democrat trolls. I can smell them from miles and miles away. I picked up on her quick.
If you're calling me a liar, then you can just go piss off.
Apparently, they just missed your comment the first time, troll. :-)
And yes, you now have to like everything about Palin to be considered acceptable.
I hope they post which breakfast cereal she eats, so I can stock up.
YOu know, if the definition of troll is someone who invades a thread, takes it off-topic, and does harm to conservatives, you might actually fit the bill better than those you are attacking.
You almost sound like a parody of a Palin supporter with your misguided, ignorant attacks on others. Do you even check their posting history at ALL before you rant about them?
In Reality, the program drew 5 million viewers last night.

LOL!
Perfect analogy.
And there you go. You don’t like the show, you don’t like Sarah Palin...why didn’t you just say that in the first place instead of pretending to honestly critique the show?
Excuse me while I put on my Nomex suit.
IMHO, the airing of this show was Palin’s way of telling the world that she had no intention of running for president.
AlGore did the same thing circa 2002, when he went on SNL, and taped a scene in a hot tub. It didn’t look presidential.
Peeking around the corner to make sure your stalker neighbor isn’t watching you doesn’t look presidential either.
I like her. I like that she’s ordinary, and not one of the ‘ruling class’. But this show is not going to help her election chances.
Oh, we can always count on you and pissy to be fair and balanced. Can’t we Charlie?
Questions for Palin supporters
After Bristol Palin had a child out of wedlock two years ago, she became a spokeswoman for an organization that decries illegitimacy. She traveled around the country saying it was a mistake for a woman to go to bed with and conceive a child with a man outside marriage, and that she personally would not have sexual relations with a man again until she was married. She seemed, in short, to be taking on the classic role of the reformed sinner, saying "Don't do what I did."
Yet from the start there were cracks in this front. If Bristol really was a penitent, shouldn't she simply have withdrawn from the public eye and quietly straightened out her life, rather than become a figure on the lecture and tv talk show circuit? For a penitent, she seemed to be enjoying herself far too much.
As a result, her verbal message--having a child out of wedlock will damage your life--was contracted by her real message--having a child out of wedlock leads to stardom and fun. But the contradiction, which I pointed to several times, became much more conspicuous when, with her mother's approval (her father always seems to be irrelevant in these situations), she accepted the invitation to be a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, gave up her job as a dental assistant, and moved from Wasilla to Los Angeles for several months. Now she was becoming an actual star in an entertainment program involving lascivious, sexy dancing (see video).
How could this be seen as compatible with her message that out of wedlock birth leads to personal ruin? Clearly, she was now saying, again, with her mother's enthusiastic blessing, that out of wedlock birth leads to hip-wiggling TV stardom. Bristol says that being on Dancing with the Stars is the most exciting thing she has done in her life. I'm sure it is. But did that make being on the program right--or just the opposite?
However, instead of my making these points and criticizing Sarah Palin and her family again, let me ask the Palin supporters what they think about it: Given Bristol's message that out of wedlock motherhood is a big mistake that will damage one's life, was it right for her to appear on this program, thus making it appear that out of wedlock motherhood is a smart move? And was her mother's support for that decision right? And was it compatible with conservatism?
And you know that’s a lie too. If you’re going to critique negatively and you have an anti-Palin posting history then expect to be called on it. What balderdash. The PDS’ers have been all over these threads. When Pissant shows up you know what you’re dealing with. Derangement time.
Did you read the first post by dawn53? It doesn’t appear so.
Or do you really think that if someone doesn’t like a show, it’s because they don’t think the lead character on the show should be President?
Because frankly, most reality shows I watch, whether I like them or not, I wouldn’t support the people in the shows for President.
Oh for God’s sakes you’re repulsive.
