Here’s a rather bizarre biographical nugget about President Obama that somehow seems to have escaped the media’s attention. According to the New York Times, Obama had a rather unusual caretaker growing up in Indonesia: His nanny was an openly gay man who, in keeping with Indonesia’s relaxed attitudes toward homosexuality, carried on an affair with a local butcher, longtime residents said. The nanny later joined a group of transvestites called Fantastic Dolls, who, like the many transvestites who remain fixtures of Jakarta’s streetscape, entertained people by dancing and playing volleyball.

While it isn’t his fault, it is still something worth knowing. We are all products of our upbringing. Whatever he was exposed to, it’s relevant. It’s part of what makes him who and what he is. And we don’t really know who and what he is in large part do we.
As another poster said, this guy never seemed to be around normal people. I think there’s enough truth in that for us all to be concerned about him. This just adds to the overall picture.

Well , this answers some of the questions as to why Little Barry behaves the way he does.

True no one gets to pick their nannies however this kind of upbringing could have colored his judgement and distorted his views. Funny the NYT didn’t report this before the election since there have been rumors all along about that Gay man Larry Sinclair and people have claimed he belongs to a Gay mens club. Couldn’t he be open to blackmail?
The fact that Obama had a nanny growing up seems to have escaped the media’s attention. Unlike, say, Sarah Palin or Marco Rubio or John Boehner or Joe, the plumber.
