The Next Set Of Cracks Appear… (The forthcoming Obama-gate scandal)
Constitution Club ^ | NOVEMBER 8, 2010 | Constitution Club

You don’t send scores of your faithful blithely off the electoral precipice without consequences.

Last January, in the thick of the Obamacare debate, nervous Blue Dog Democrats met with Obama and communicated their unease. They specifically brought up Clinton’s electoral backlash in 1994, caused – to some degree – by Clinton’s failed effort to do exactly what Obama was having them do now: pass a healthcare plan.

According to retiring democratic Rep Marion Berry, as reported in ADG (subscription only, but here’s a good link from Politico to get the general gist), Obama dismissed their concerns, claiming his popularity would provide them adequate political cover. He told told jittery Dems “Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.”

Fat load of good it did. One imagines Napoleon said the same to his generals before he invaded Russia. Yes, the Dems passed Obamacare, and yes, the French captured Moscow, but a month later Napoleon marched back out again and ultimately earned himself a long vacation at Elba. Now Obama’s in India and the word around the capital is the Dems sent him there to be rid of him while they assess the wreckage.

From Opinion Maker:

According to sources close to the White House, who put themselves in great danger by even talking to members of the media, the plans to have Obama leave for a visit to India, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan are an attempt to get Obama out of the country while top Democrats can sort through the political disaster created for the party by Obama’s increasingly detached-from-reality presidency.

This one was easy to figure out more than a year ago. Every poll would of had to been wrong. Odumbo is just curry chicken to face the backlash

Very clever, in keeping with the typically-deceitful Clintonian modus operandi.

Within the last week Hillary has proclaimed to CBS News that she will not be a candidate for President in either 2012 or 2016.

Nice bit of strategery there. It fools and disarms her enemies in the Obama camp, while permitting her operatives in that camp to slip out of the back door practically unnoticed (right, Rahm?).

Proclaim disinterest all the while advancing plans for the nascent coup on many fronts, expecting that when the time is ripe the Democrat dupes will be begging her to take the reins of power.

Plans within plans within plans...

Braude is a chump. The best you can say about him is at least he doesn’t mask what he is: a self-centered, self-aggrandizing, arrogant, p-o-s socialist.

Obama is taking prescription anxiety medication.

He was off his meds during the campaign

“WMR has also learned from White House sources that Obama is taking prescription anxiety medication.”

Time to review the 25th Amendment.

Obama ran his campaign similar to a high school electing their class president.

The only thing he didn't have was a break-dancing geek of a buddy who liked to draw big cat hybrids.

But with the plantation and fraud votes, it turns out he didn't need him.

I wonder if there is anything to this.

Let Hillary’s people do it, you can be sure they are behind this.

They wouldn't make a move without a solid plan to blame it on the Right. They may or may not have the media sufficiently in the corner for that.

I think it’s funny how the liberals have twisted the birth certificate issue around.

There have a been a few lawsuits on the subject. The very first Obama birth certificate lawsuit was filed by Philip Berg, who is a Democrat operative in Pennsylvania.

A good Democrat was the first one who thought that this issue should be in court. So what does that tell you? Why would a Democrat be involved in any of this, if it’s just a matter of the lunatic fringe wanting to do anything to hurt the president???????

True. Him and Marsh make me want to go Elvis on the TV. Those two make MSNBC almost look watchable...almost.

Is Progressivism dead?

Is Keynesian economics dead?

If yes to both, which was the most important of the two deaths?

I would say it was the death of Keynesian economics, because no matter how great a percentage of the population embrace Progressivism it would have to be paid for.

We all make fun of the president for his thinking that he just didn’t communicate well enough and all that, and that the elections DID NOT mean people rejected Obama’s policies.

The sad thing is that Obama truly believes that. He truly believes in socialism and liberalism as the only solutions to any conceivable social/economic problems we face.

2012 can’t get here soon enough to suit me. But, I also have a parallel hope that the Republican candidates for president and vice-president in ‘12 are true conservatives, so that the people have a sharp clear choice in that election. And so that assuming a Republican victory, with more Republicans in Congress, the work can begin to undo some of the what Obama has done.

In this case “triangulation” means letting the Democrats form their circular firing squad? Oh, the carnage (snicker)!

The Chicago Climate Exchange is going under; disbanding. It is the investment brain child of GloBull Warming proponents like AlGore; Val Jarrett; the Clintons; the Obamas; and a cadre of other ‘Chicago Insiders’ who stood to make billions off of Cap and Tax (the carbon credit scheme). But nary a word from the lames.

Fascinating, huh?

Yet Dear Leader keeps tauting a ‘green economy’ being pushed thru is not by legislation, by EPA edict. One way or the other THEY (the usual suspects) will get their fortunes, one way or the other.

“The Dem’s asking for his BC seems like it would just lead to further embarrassment for the party. After all, they were the gate-keepers, so to speak, after the election.”

It would be easier to clean up than the negative impact of his continued Presidency.

PS I want him to go too, but I want clean hands in this matter going into the next election. If we are involved they will use it against us.

I agree completely!! That's one of the reasons I don't want the new Repub. Congress to waste time in the next two years on 'investigations' of Obama. Work instead on repealing Obamacare, the Financial legislation, and all other liberal toe holds the Dems have made in the last two years. THAT will go a longer way toward getting themselves re-elected in 2012, and setting up for a Repub. President.

I predicted long ago that at some point you will see the Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader of the Senate take a little stroll up to the Oval Office just as they did with Nixon and give the President 2 options. Resign or be impeached.

The antics of Barack Obama make Nixon pale in comparison. When Darryl Issa gets subpoena power in January and starts all of his investigations I feel sure something in the form of high crimes and misdemeanors will surface.
