Top 10 Ways to School Your Leftist Friends on Facebook

You’re all bloggers, you know. If you’re on Facebook, you have an opportunity to express your opinion with an audience of FB friends. More of us should be taking advantage of this opportunity.

Because unless you zealously guard the ideological purity of your Facebook friendlist, limiting it only to other people who also only limit to conservatives, you are bound to log on one day and find some spectacularly annoying and/or downright asinine comment posted to which you must respond. And I mean you MUST respond. (See #10, below.)

Now this can be bruising, because text-based arguments get nastier a whole lot quicker, in my experience, than face-to-face interactions. Most people are a whole lot more polite in person than when protected by the relative anonymity of their computer screen, and this goes double for Leftists. What’s more, it is often the friends of your friends to whom you will find yourself responding, and they may well be people you don’t know and will never meet, which can shove the nasty meter into overdrive. But armed with these tips, you can have a rewarding exchange, pound Leftism, and maintain your dignity:

10.  Let no Leftist idiocy go unchallenged.

As far as I am concerned it is a government-monitored personal information mine into which people with exaggerated senses of self-importance spend inordinate amounts of time shoveling ‘ore’.

I zealously guard my FB. Only two friends on there and they’re both Conservative Christians. The other stuff is ‘likes’. No interest in dealing with liberal claptrap.

Got a fake name, fake email, and say all kinds of stuff regarding muzzies, shar’ia law, commie libbies...heh, lost a 100 “friends” in my last tirade. Currently fighting the site from some idiots,”Kill A Jew a Day,” oh and a love Olbermann site...yeesh!

I love this..i have been doing this on a regular basis to a friend who constantly posts everything MOveon.org passes on. The other day she posted something about how there would no longer be ‘diversity” in Congress. I hit them with the facts that we added the same number of women as left, 2 African Americans, many more Hispanic Candidates, etc The zinger was when I pointed out to her and the “bemoaners” on her page, that the Dems who lost were for the most part, the “white” guys that they feared had now taken over the gov’t. It shuts down the conversation and the posting right away, plus it allows me to enter some facts into a major liberal conversation.

I believe that I have five friends on Facebook, and I have absolutely no use for it. So I’m unlikely to have this kind of exchange there.

However, I’ve indulged in such discussions elsewhere. Anywhere you can find a lot of young, liberal, and naive kids, you can have those discussions.

No idea. I am not that interested in contacting old friends nor communicating on FB in any way with my true friends thus the false name and started playing a game. I could care less about the game, but it's a great way to find all sorts of folks from all over the world, then you get an audience and WHAMO blast them both barrels and watch 'em run!

I noticed half the folks( about 1/2) were named Ahmad, mohammed, or some such Middle eastern name so I just slam some statement like," So what's the difference between kissing some black rock in Mecca( or is it spelled Muccus?), the Blarney Stone in Ireland or my butt in America? it's a lot of fun. I've lost a LOT of libbie folks that "friended" me and a heck of a lot of Muzzies. Gads if they knew my real name they might issue a fatwa via some goat humping Imam or CAIR...who knows.

So far, no one knows who I am and since it's a fake name and email, I don't get any old friends looking to reconnect for some odd reason. I've even dropped some of those Mohammed cartoons as my profile picture. That really gets folks fired up

I agree, FRiend. I too left Facebook once I figured out what was going on. If I was still working hard at real estate I might have to be there, but as doctors say, I’m not taking new patients anymore.

I have close to 160 facebook friends and alot were/are the artsy leftist types. Alot of them I unfriended during the elections but there were quite a few others who were politically quiet or apathetic. Lots of replies were the I never knew that!.....If I just changed a mind or two with the threads or great photos I posted then I consider it a success. I never post personal info, bdates, pet names, etc or anything that I wouldn’t say in public

I don’t have a facebook, and don’t want one.

Aside from stealing my info, its just an enormous waste of time (I think sO) not to mention one of the biggest hobbies of your typical leftwing nitwit. I’d like to stay different from them.
