Days after Democrats received a self-described "shellacking" at the polls, President Obama called for an end to campaigning and an embrace of compromise.
But he signaled no willingness to bend on the first challenge likely to face him

The bad news: It shows Barry's ideological, leftist, stubborn side. The good news: If he keeps this up, he'll end up splitting his own party.

Ya know, in a way, our current society reminds me of the old days when one “had a car made”. You had the engine put in the frame and then sent to the “coachworks” where the “coach” was applied. One could spend a lot on motor and little on coach or vice versa. Seems to me what libtards have been asking for is a car with a great coach and no motor. Fine, if all one wants is to sit in the driveway, but an economy has to “get out and run.”

Despots have no need to “bend”. They have Divine Right. It is everybody else that must bend the knee to them.
Tyrannical desposts not only won’t bend, but they will deal maliciously with those who suggest that they do.

In January taxes will increase for just about everyone. Food and fuel prices are rising and the 99ers are just about done. It is going to get worse before it gets better.

OK, how's this one? Obama wants his tax increases? Cut the federal budget by three times the amount of the increases. Reduce funding of all government agencies and departments by 1/3 across the board: executive, legislative, and judicial. Reduce funding for the WH and its staffers by 75 percent.
Now, Barry, about your taxes . . .

Nice analogy.
Bambi is so dense about what drives a growing economy, he seems to think attaching a windmill to the top will make it run better.

In both the ‘day after’ White House news conference and his speech before leaving for India, he called for infrastructure building.
No word on how he intends to pay for it.
Stimulus spending has failed to stimulate.
He still doesn’t get it.

I don’t think we got much “infrastructure” with that first stimulus. He’s so full of it, it’s hard to even read stuff he says.
