Authorities in Crow Wing County are investigating possible voter fraud involving people with mental disabilities. An affidavit, filed Monday by Brainerd resident Montgomery Jensen, claims a large group of mentally handicapped people were told whom to vote for by mental health staff members and that staff filled out the ballots themselves without the disabled voters close by. Jensen said he came to the Crow Wing County Auditor's Office in Brainerd at approximately 4:40 p.m. Friday to fill out an absentee ballot, because he wouldn't have time to vote there on Nov. 2.

Interesting. Here in Kansas, we voted today on a referendum to repeal a law specifically preventing mentally disabled people to vote.
The (tasteless) jokes just write themselves...
This was huge in 2000 in Palm Beach County. Robert Wexler had Condo-Commando’s going in and out of nursing homes and retirement communities doing this with people with dementia and alzheimers.
Was completely disgraceful.

I know as a fact that not one of them could look at a ballot and have the slightest clue what it said.
How many times does this occur in every election?
“Why are libs (as mental health workers)always in charge of the mentally ill? Would you trust the libs to do the right thing(that is, to take care of your loved one? Ive seen firsthand how liberals are good in brainwahing and manipulating people”
Libs ARE mentally ill.
It takes one to know one.
indeed, I heard the broadcast also. I’m pretty sure he said crow wign county.
Yep. I was listening too...
grrrr. wign s/b wing...
I actually grew up in Crow Wing County, MN. While I’m convinced that this type of thing is perpetrated shamelessly during every election cycle, I’m guessing that Rep. Oberstar is cheering the unions on in their efforts. He is in the first real challenge to his seat since I can remember—and he has been in office since I was in 2nd grade, which is a very long time ago! Go, Cravaak!
My Husband’s very lib cousin just posted this on FB.
“That’s one advantage to living with Nonnie. I have to help her vote, so....she votes for the candidates I promote! hehehe”
Nonnie is her 90 year old mother. She also has a 26-year-old disabled son. She didn’t mention him, but......
Yep!
This sort of “helping” is done on an institutional basis all the time. It happens in ALL of the intstitutions and “businesses” that get “tax-payer (government) funding”.
THEY have the ability to cancel out the Republican votes of the very taxpayers from which they get their “funding”. This denies us our civil rights. DEFUND THEM ALL.
Hey, Buster.... my sister has Down’s Syndrome. I’m not generally touchy, but that’s just a low blow on your part. Don’t even think about equating her with those thugs.
My apologies for the offense.
I am completely shocked and bewildered that so many folks take this voter fraud so lightly!! It’s ramifications are devestating and certainly nothing to be even joked about at all!! I’ve never been convinced that Obama even won the last election without the massive fraud that occured and the whole world can see the results!! I don’t know America. Any uprising will come far too late as far as I can see. It makes me sad since I love the country and have over 30 American born relatives. CO
Typical.
