The Christine O'Donnell campaign bought three thirty minute blocks of time on Delaware TV channel 28 to broadcast an infomercial on her candidacy the last two days before Tuesday's election.
Last night's scheduled 11:30 broadcast failed to happen. This morning, the scheduled 10:00 broadcast also failed to happen.
The O'Donnell campaign just Tweeted about the incidents:
This isn't our show either! We are told channel 28 "forgot" to air it...both times... even though we paid for the time slot last week.

The infomercial, entitled We the People, was posted this morning to O'Donnell's campaign website and can be viewed here.
The next scheduled broadcast is for 3:00 p.m. today.

It’s the Democrat-Media Complex at work....
To: nhwingut
How do you “forget” to run a scheduled 30-minute segment?
I hope the people of Delaware look at this and realize that there is a thugocracy that is at work, and realize that if they don’t vote against the thugocracy this is the kind of crap that will be the norm.

Here's the response I got from my email: From: Daps ... "First of all, you have no idea what the situation is or what has happened and you do not know me from Adam. I do not appreciate such a judgment of myself or my business based on ignorance of what is the reality. We only provide Comcast with the programs to be aired. It is out of our hands at that point. Now, that being said, the edited program did not enter my possesion until 9:30pm Sunday night. It was originally agreed to be to me on Friday at 5:30pm. Even if it was delayed until Saturday afternoon, no problems would have arisen, however, at Sunday night, we are relying on the underpaid employees at Comcast to do things that they are in any way required to do. These are things that the O'Donnell camp were not aware of when arranging the air time. But again, the program was supposed to be ready much much earlier. I worked the entire weekend with the O'Donnell camp and I personally did not offer my services to not see the project fail. So, in closing, I have no problems looking at myself in the morning because I do my job and I do it well. And as far as political alliances go, that is really none of your business, but since I have started, you can rest assured that I am a registered non-partisan citizen, and personally have no plans on voting, nor do I have any inclination to damage either parties campaigns."

I just watched the whole video. She is such a refreshing person and I hope all of Delaware votes for her.

Sent them an email also.
Told them how impressed I was that they committed intentional election fraud, not only once but twice! Told them that they probably got a nice check from Coons/DNC and it would be necessary for their legal fees when they’ll have to defend their actions in front of the FCC (and I reminded them that, very soon, the FCC will have to answer to a Republican congress that will provide their funding!).

A simple refund isnt good enough.
Of course not. If that's the case, the television station wins. Make them pay severely through the legal system.

This teevee station's lack of ethical behavior is indicative of the sorry state of the country generally. The burning question is STILL, where is conservative opposition media? How is it the megaphone, that is the dying dinomedia, virtually been coopted by libtards? THIS is a question we have GOT to find an answer to, PERIOD! Their propaganda has almost brought the country(and the rest of the world for that matter) to the edge of the abyss.

I meant to add, the best line in the whole ad comes from one of her supporters:
"She's one of us and WE'RE going to Washington"!

Daps = David 'Daps' Reinert - Production Manager of Delaware channel 28. Good job you did getting a reply from him.
It's interesting that he seems to lay fault at the O'Donnell campaign's door for not getting the ads to him until 9:30 PM Sunday night when they had agreed to get them to him at 5:30PM on Friday night. I wonder if that's true? It sure would seem as though Christine herself would have been aware of that, and might have mentioned it in her tweets if it was true.
Then again, it sort of fits with the Washington Post quotes from Christine's campaign spokesman, Doug Sachtleben saying that the campaign is only today negotiating with a local Fox affiliate to air an ad. And his quote that tomorrow the campaign is going station-to-station with a DVD and begging for anyone to air it. Makes me wonder what's going on with all this 11th hour strategy. Couldn't Christine's campaign have procured their media buys, station placement and timeslots before last night, or today, or tomorrow for goodness sake?
I hope this is all just misquotes from Washington Post and that O'Donnell's campaign staff isn't that disorganized. Because, if it is, were I her I'd start looking for an enemy within my own camp.
I question these things as someone who has donated not insignificantly to Christine O'Donnell's campaign. I find these reports more than a little disconcerting.
