(CNN) - A surprising new Senate poll in Delaware shows Republican Christine O'Donnell may be in striking distance of Democrat Chris Coons.
According to the new survey from Monmouth University, the surprise Republican nominee is only 10 points behind Coons, drawing 41 percent of the vote. In a previous Monmouth poll conducted two weeks ago, O'Donnell trailed by 19 points.
But the latest Monmouth survey differs substantially from two other recent polls, including a Farleigh Dickinson survey released Thursday that showed a 21-point advantage for Coons and a CNN/Time poll released earlier this month that indicated a 19-point lead for Coons.
The latest Monmouth poll surveyed 1,171 voters between October 25-27 and carries a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Well said, but you left Joe Miller off, he was supposedly down 40 or something like that at one point to the Cow.

Reports he has been seen with Wolf?

I should have pinged you to my post #115 since you were the one being irresponsible with your hyperbolic abuse of the English language and the meaning of words.
Bah. Explain to me how pushing open borders and amnesty is not treason, and maybe I'll recant. But I think the original accusation (not mine) of "traitor" against Rove was meant in the sense of a traitor to conservatives, not necessarily to the USA in general.
To: tcrlaf
I read the entire thread and could not find if they asked reg or likely?
I went to the CNN link and they only said ‘voters” did not say likely or reg voters?
To: fr_freak
Well, I'm glad that you at least have backed off that ridiculous accusation that Rove is a traitor to the US.
As I said, words mean things.
When you misuse them in such a profound way as you did, they are rendered meaningless, and the real traitors, such as Barack Obama aren't seen as being as evil as they really are.

This is ODonnells tread [sic]. And indeed Coons will feel her treadmarks when Christen O'Donnel tromps all over him on November 2nd. I can see victory all the way from here in Texas.

Very true. However, if this is “the surge” then Ohaha has nothing to worry about.

This is the race I am doing a “mini-LENT” for. I’m giving up my beloved Diet Coke until after the election. Every time I get a craving for one, I am going to pray for Christine to win. I suspect I’ll be praying a lot this weekend!

Actually, I was clarifying that the poster who originally called Rove a traitor probably meant "to conservatives". I will say that you are right - someone like Rove should not be put into the same class as Obama (although I don't think of Obama as a traitor, since I don't think of him as an American. I just think of him as our open enemy). However, the position of open borders and amnesty is a traitorous position. It undermines the US and its people at their foundation, and it is even worse when it is done in the face of massive popular opposition. I still have no idea why people like Rove support it, but I suppose that that it doesn't meet the Constitutional definition of "treason".

"Remind me again how many points Christine was down against Mike Castle a few days prior to the primaries?" So far as I know it wasn't polled.
"Remind me again how many points Scott Brown was down against Martha Coakley a few days prior to the Massachusetts Senate elections?"
"A few days prior" he was being picked to win by many pundits. He started getting quite close weeks before the election.
Glad to help.
