Let’s hope this is broadcast far & wide by all Church leaders; I can’t stand when they leave someone like this hanging there like a loonie.
If Catholics insist on voting for these murderers, they should at least be aware to the danger to their soul caused by their complicity in the slaughter.
You go, Cardinal Burke! Your clarion call to the politicians is needed and must be heeded.
Hope he keeps that up.
Good for the Cardinal - telling them what they should know already. That blood doesn’t wash off.
Yep, that was first in my how to vote bulletin insert. The insert also instructed me to vote for those who recognize healthcare as a universal human right, and for those who approve of amnesty.
So, your church opposes the separation of church and state
Sounds like someone is unaware that “universal human rights” impose no involuntary requirements on other people.
C’mon, Cardinal Wuerl. Join him and make your hometown of Pittsburgh proud!
Of interest, per our previous conversation.
And your church supports the separation of morality and state?
I had a democrat candidate for a local office stop by my house to try and get me to vote for him. I asked him why he was a democrat. He replied with a non-reply, trying to help the little guy, supporting families, etc. I then asked him what he thought of gay marriage, ObamaCare, late term abortions, gun control and higher taxes. He asked, what does that have to do with the office he was running for. I told him that those are the basic tenets of his party, if he is a democrat he has to be supporting those positions. He walked away from my house, I don’t think he ever understood what I was trying to say to him.
I oppose the separation of Church and state.
I also note that the concept of "separation of Church and state" appears precisely nowhere in the Constitution of the United States of America
We, as Catholics, do NOT support the separation of babies and mothers, by virtue of murder. You got a problem with that, buddy?
Can this stand if the candidate is to represent the views of his district? National, State and Local, all included if there is no abortion measure on the table? Maybe more messages by clergy to prospective mothers is in order. If these were convinced not to abort, there would be no necessity for legislation.
Re: post 7
Apparently you also support universal government healthcare and amnesty for illegals when the church tells you how you must vote
Cardinal Burke is the man who as Bishop of St. Louis told Frenchy NOT to present himself to recieve Holy Communion in the Diocese of St Louis during the 2004 election. This is a sign that the Holy Father is ready to get tough with C.I.N.O. politicians.
