Obama has been hiding his real agenda: Sounds far-fetched, but he's the "Radical-in-Chief."
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Star-Tribune ^ | October 23, 2010 | Katherine Kersten

Posted on 10/23/2010 5:05:01 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

In the heady days of 2008, Americans warmed quickly to the prospect of Barack Obama as our 44th president. Obama promised to be just what our fractured nation needed -- a non-ideological, post-partisan consensus builder, guided by mainstream pragmatic thinking.

When the story broke about Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright -- his pastor for 20 years, a "black-power" radical and a fan of Fidel Castro -- we raised our eyebrows. We did the same when we heard of Obama's longtime connection to Bill Ayers, an unrepentant former Weather Underground terrorist. But Obama blew these relationships off as exaggerated or unimportant, and we trusted his assurances.

Now a new book by Stanley Kurtz -- a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a Harvard PhD -- reveals why we should have probed the disconnect when we had a chance. Americans increasingly sense we were sold a bill of goods, and Kurtz explains why in "Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism." Our president isn't what he claims to be, says Kurtz. Obama's plummeting approval ratings, and the electoral tsunami about to hit Democrats, reflect voters' sense of betrayal.

In fact, Kurtz goes further, and makes an electrifying charge: Obama has purposely disguised what he believes, and is actively seeking to mislead the American people about his agenda. Obama, says Kurtz, is a socialist. He believes -- not in state ownership -- but in a savvier version of socialism that seeks to transform and undermine American capitalism through ever-expanding government control; irreversible entitlements; and a metastasizing public sector...

“Roots of Obama’s Rage”
This book is the single best explanation of Obama.
It is a great read and very scary.

Only with God’s help, can we get out of this predicament.

Our president isn’t what he claims to be, says Kurtz.

No kidding, he’s the exact opposite. Those of us awake in 2008 knew this and were accused of everything under the sun while trying to tell our friends and co-workers the simple facts. Sadly, at the expense of the country, WE have the last laugh of sorts.

I would like to see some proof the Minneapolis-St.Paul Star Tribune actually gave a hoot about Ayers, Jeremiah Wright or any of that... who's to say they're not just shilling for the Hillary camp?

Americans were lulled into ignoring Obama's background because they think of "community organizers" as well-intentioned do-gooders. In fact, the father of community organizing was Saul Alinsky, a far-left icon and the author of the 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals."

Americans were NOT lulled into ignoring Obama's background - that's NOT what happened. The press - the liberal MSM chose NOT TO LOOK into Obama's reality. And when someone uncovered some truth about his ideology, the MSM called that person a racist or a hater or a right wing nut. They - THE MSM - didn't do their job. And that's why we're in the mess were in...

Oh - and the folks here at FreeRepublic weren't 'lulled' into easily uncovered lies - we knew what was going down...

The reality is 0b0z0 has created a Facist regime like Germany, Italy and Spain in the 1930-40’s where powerful/super elites become government supported/mandated monopolies.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF The move to gain total authority for the executive branch some 70 years ago was part of a package called “The Enabling Acts,” although it was written in German.

Five simple little articles and note all the references to 'the constitution.' Ohaha doesn't even bother with these when issuing an edict from on high.

====================================

REFERENCE Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Nation The Reichstag has enacted the following law, which is hereby proclaimed with the assent of the Reichsrat, it having been established that the requirements for a constitutional amendment have been fulfilled:

Article 1 In addition to the procedure prescribed by the constitution, laws of the Reich may also be enacted by the government of the Reich. This includes the laws referred to by Articles 85 Paragraph 2 and Article 87 of the constitution.

Article 2 Laws enacted by the government of the Reich may deviate from the constitution as long as they do not affect the institutions of the Reichstag and the Reichsrat. The rights of the President remain undisturbed.

Article 3 Laws enacted by the Reich government shall be issued by the Chancellor and announced in the Reich Gazette. They shall take effect on the day following the announcement, unless they prescribe a different date. Articles 68 to 77 of the Constitution do not apply to laws enacted by the Reich government.

Article 4 Treaties of the Reich with foreign states which affect matters of Reich legislation shall not require the approval of the bodies of the legislature. The government of the Reich shall issue the regulations required for the execution of such treaties.

Article 5 This law takes effect with the day of its proclamation. It loses force on 1 April 1937 or if the present Reich government is replaced by another.

That German maniac also had dreams of glory---to hold office 40 years or more.

As the saying goes: "Man proposes--God disposes."

Excellent mysterious post,

Why do people insist that Obama "hid his agenda?"

What he did, against very weak opposition, is SELL his agenda to 53% of the voters who bothered to show up. The fact that so many Americans were blinded by the obvious is what is insane here.

However, with turn-out as low as it is, The Marxist Moonbeam from Mombasa only had to sell his shoddy goods to 26% of eligible voters. The way things are going, that's welfare recipients, college geeks, union members, minorities, and the ladies.

“Say... a T-P group to watch over the School Boards..”

Still have the teachers’ unions and tenure to deal with.

How is the Tea Party going to fire the entire administration of every university in America, along with 95 to 99 percent of the professors?

The United States and her Constitution will be history long before anything could be accomplished that way.

Temporarily shut down the universities and purge all faculty.

That would be a huge start and a relatively easy undertaking since we know whom and where they are.

Next step would be to locate their alumni and discern what side they’re on - America’s or the left’s. If they’re an active hard leftist, they have to ‘go’. This would purge our institutions of much of the problems we have now, including many judges, trial lawyers, ACLU and operators of or in leftist NGOs, the people who finance them, and governmental agencies.

Just use the universities for the starting point.

Next area to look at are corprations and labor. They’re easy to find, too. Some will pass muster, others won’t.

After all that’s cleaned up, the terrorists, illegals and mongrels operating underground/sub rosa would have nowhere to hide and would be easy to identify.

Zero has exposed the Fifth Column in America. It is easy to see now. Now more fog, no more smoke and mirrors.

Zero’s agenda wasn’t as obvious as it needed to be for the truly dense, the plantation-dwellers and the elite because there’s never been a bill before him to vote on that is as egregiously far left as the ones he, Pelosi and Reid have cooked up.

To those dupes, American Idol was much more important until they lost their jobs, their investments and their homes. Not even the plantation-dwellers ‘got theirs’, lol.

Maybe “firing” is too weak a step. Perhaps something that makes the point more obvious would be more effective.
