Obama has been hiding his real agenda: Sounds far-fetched, but he's the "Radical-in-Chief."
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Star-Tribune ^ | October 23, 2010 | Katherine Kersten

Posted on 10/23/2010 5:05:01 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

In the heady days of 2008, Americans warmed quickly to the prospect of Barack Obama as our 44th president. Obama promised to be just what our fractured nation needed -- a non-ideological, post-partisan consensus builder, guided by mainstream pragmatic thinking.

When the story broke about Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright -- his pastor for 20 years, a "black-power" radical and a fan of Fidel Castro -- we raised our eyebrows. We did the same when we heard of Obama's longtime connection to Bill Ayers, an unrepentant former Weather Underground terrorist. But Obama blew these relationships off as exaggerated or unimportant, and we trusted his assurances.

Now a new book by Stanley Kurtz -- a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a Harvard PhD -- reveals why we should have probed the disconnect when we had a chance. Americans increasingly sense we were sold a bill of goods, and Kurtz explains why in "Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism." Our president isn't what he claims to be, says Kurtz. Obama's plummeting approval ratings, and the electoral tsunami about to hit Democrats, reflect voters' sense of betrayal.

In fact, Kurtz goes further, and makes an electrifying charge: Obama has purposely disguised what he believes, and is actively seeking to mislead the American people about his agenda. Obama, says Kurtz, is a socialist. He believes -- not in state ownership -- but in a savvier version of socialism that seeks to transform and undermine American capitalism through ever-expanding government control; irreversible entitlements; and a metastasizing public sector...

......gutless, nutless Yacht Club Republicans ....

Enough of your damned insults, Sir! Have you gotten a good look at these "Tea-Partiers, or Baggers," whatever? Seriously, not a proper blazer or white set of trousers among them. And the shoes! My Gawd, man ... their shoes! Jet-skiers ... not a proper bowline or backsplice among them.

As soon as we're back in DC, we'll put paid to these public course people and get back to business with a few of the like-minded across the aisle.

José, get me another mojito, chop-chop muchacho! Then clean the pool, mow the lawn, do the flower beds, and pick up Tyler and Tiffany at school. Stout fellows, these people!

Looks stikingly like the Cloward-Piven theory of American demise and equalization with the new world order, to me!!!

Ya know, I remember one of the excuses that Timouthy McVeigh offered in addition to Waco. He was upset with America's bullying of Iraq in Gulf War I in which he saw "winning through intimidation" and thought it was totally unfair!!!

So as I suspected all along, McVeigh was a budding leftist that had been public schooled to believe that everything he needed to know in life, he learned in Kindergarten, just like Omoba!!!

This has been officially true of the entire American left since the Rio Summit of 1992, but in reality long before Roosevelt.

"Man proposes--God disposes."

And in this case, I propose that "God forbid!!!"

Obama is laughing all the way, and may succeed yet.

The press is still covering for him.

I predict states begin to withdraw from the feds, and a possible civil war.

“It’s fair to say that they ended up badly.......”

A kind understatement when those countries got hammered, most of Europe and a lot of Asia was reduced to rubble with millions of innocents killed, missing or destroyed mentally.

Can’t recommend “Liberal Fascism” too highly. It is not an easy read, but it’s more than worth the effort.

In the 1920s and 1930's, the Communists were sorely disappointed by their abject failure to recruit those whom they considered a natural proletariat, i.e., American Negroes; African-Americans. In fact, most seemed to be registered Republicans!

The obvious solution, welfare and other forms of making ALL people dependent upon government for economic survival. The Communists themselves were increasingly drawn into leadership roles in the Democratic Party and began winning African-Americans over to their side until now, when they have well over 95%.

Next step, having enticed the African-Americans back onto the plantation, have everyone else join them.

Very interesting!!!

By the way, if your name is based on certain geographic elements, I was just in your neighborhood somewhere near the Bush compound. We then went up to Acadia N.P. and then Baxter State Park to look for moose to photograph while RV camping but they wanted and extra $14/per night because we were out of state. Obviously, we just mooved on!!!

Best way to see a moose is to have a few drinks, drive slowly out by the woods just before dawn, lights off, honking your horn.

They'll come right on over. Call your insco, and then the sheriff to pick up the carcass for the orphanage. Sorry 'bout your car. Everybody OK? Don't think shy little Bambi. Think Budweiser Clydesdale who doesn't like you.

You see, you don't hit the moose. The moose is lookin' to hit you.

>Like the Greeks did for the Medizing Greeks who aligned with Xerxes and retreated with him into Asia.

About 150 years later, Alexander found them where they’d settled in central Asia (Turkestan or Kazakhstan somewhere) .... wiped them out, to a man. Every man, woman, and child.

Could you please tell me more about all of that? Like in a private message?

Dinesh is brilliant. If you ever get a chance read “Illiberal Education”. You’ll quickly realize why so many people can not reason for themselves, and are willing to accept socialism. Public Education is not a primary goal of statists for nothing!
