So if a majority of people who are dumb enough to get their news from CBS believe in the tooth fairy, then there is such a thing as the tooth fairy? Only at CBS and only in New York.

There were major articles in the 1970’s saying the ice was on the way.

YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!
They can only predict YESTERDAY weather at 50% success rate.
What make you think they can predict anything that far out...
Weather patterns change Week to Week, Month to Month, Remember THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE DECADE OF TERRIBLE HURRICANES!!!! Hummmm What happen to that??? the past 10 years have been some of the quietest on record....

The amount of water evaporating from the Earth’s surface must increase as temperatures increase. If it doesn’t fall back to Earth, there will be no huricanes and the sea level will fall, but sea level rises and increased huricane frequency are also predicted.

Well, I heard a rumor that scientists have devised a way to predict weather.

They are going to call it ‘seasons’, and it’s rumored that they are going to be called:

Spring

Summer

Autumn and

Winter

And they can predict exactly what’s going to happen during these so-called ‘seasons’.

Spring - they predict rain and even flowers growing. Not too warm either.

Summer - hot and occasional rain and a lot of ‘sun light’.

Autumn - rain and falling temperatures. (they even say the leaves on the trees will turn “Colors”.. ooooo how pretty)

Winter - Cold and lots of white stuff they call ‘Snow’...

AND they say it’s going to happen every year too!

Just a rumor mind you..

Right on. Next week, a couple of unexpected sun spots and bingo, everything changes. Now, they are trying to predict sunspots. LOL

I predict approximately 6 mo of lower temps in the Continental US, followed by 6 months of higher temps, followed by 6 mo of lowered temps.

Do I get a grant?

My forecast for my area of the Midwest for the next decade: Snow in winter, wet in spring, lots of thunderstorms in early summer some of which may be severe along with heat and humidity, very dry in August and September and cooler in October with a frost eventually. I’m very confident in my forecast.
