IMO. the bishops have been remisss in not loudly denouncing all politicians who support abortion and strongly admonishing Catholics who vote for them.
My corner of OH sometimes has, umm, curious candidates. But I definitely agree with the good words of the good Bishop. And I vote pro-life and pro-traditional marriage only. I also counsel others to do the same. Thanks for the post, Salvation.
Interesting addition to our bulletin this week .....
“In accord with IRS rules and the United States Conference of Bishops, Bishop ********* has indicated very clearly that we as a parish are not to be involved in political advocacy activities. For information about this rule see the legal opinion. Information on the upcoming election can be found at the U.S. Bishops website. Among other things this means that no voters’ guides may be distributed from or in our parish facility or using parish resources, including email lists.”
