WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's winning coalition from 2008 has crumbled and his core backers are dispirited. It's now Republicans who stand to benefit from an electorate that's again craving change.
Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama's first midterm elections.

IMHO many 2008 voters would NOT have supported BO if they had been provided background information on him. He is not the descendant of slaves or a son of American experience. Black AND white voters were deceived in their desire to give him a chance and validate their sense of pride and fairness.

...there was/is plenty of opportunity to find anything on anyone. The idiots that voted for this clown voted as if it were “American Idol”. They’re woefully misinformed and uneducated in economics and history. Stupidity is no excuse.
On Nov. 2, Obama will find out just how fickle many of his voters from 2008 really are. They had their thrill, their feel-good moment, and they aren’t there for him now. For all but his leftist hard core, it was never really about his policies, it was about his celebrity; and those voters aren’t to be counted on this year now that he needs them for vindication. On our side, we just need turnout, turnout, turnout. It all depends on that.
Half of Obama voters will definitely vote, while two-thirds of McCain voters will, and that's "just as many" on each side. The math here is another demonstration of the fundamental problem with Dems.
It would be nice if anyone who voted for Obama and his BS socialistic programs were just shipped off to Europe and let America get back to what it was.
