WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is defending the Obama administration's foreign policy against attacks from fellow Republicans.

Can we please do better than these modern day Judases?
By now it should be very apparent that the RNC can not come up with better candidates.
The solution:
All politics are local is an old and true saying. The number of people who have attended LOCAL Tea Parties over the past year proves it.
If we the people are going have public servants not public masters, it has to start at the grass roots level.

oh, it would be so much better if the former U.S. Secretary of State reduced herself to the level of Jimmy Carter or Madeline Albright, criticizing her successor or the sitting POTUS. That would really serve America’s interests abroad!
Rice continues to defend the policies of the Bush Administration, with which she is identified. Asked about her successor and the current POTUS, she showed diplomatic skill, maturity and class. She is not an elected official, never was. Her role is totally different.
I’d leave the petty BS, together with history’s verdict, to the Carters and Albrights. If Rice’s primary interest is the USA, instead of making political hay, she’ll make rather tepid remarks that could be construed as ‘defending’ current U.S. foreign policy.
Of course, one can not put full faith in polls, but with the polls claiming 95% voted nobama, its difficult to see many, even conservatives, not going racial on us.
Would think there a significant % now realize the racial mistake and it would be surprising if he was re-elected, not even considering hitlery is sniping from every tree. Would not be surprised if black voters withdrew for a period maybe beginning this cycle. If there is any “brother” enthusiasm like before 2008 or a period afterward, its sure hidden now. Don’t blame em, I hide too if I was the one who brought the clap home.
I agree that many are regretting the fallout. Some realize that he broke their ricebowl.
I can agree that I would rather not hear her criticize. On the other hand, I would prefer she not give them any support and cover, either.
A pox on Carter and his ilk. He is the one who broke the unwritten rule about criticizing a sitting president.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“I remember when Freepers used to regularly say, Condi for President!
And my response was, No thanks. Shes pro-abort”
.... and MY response back then was that she was “Colin Powell in a skirt”. We all know who HE voted for.
Stick to the piano, Ms. Rice. You do that better anyway.
ok, so I’m not up on everything .. could you give some examples of how Rice is an anti-Semitic Arabist or how she’s indicated she agrees with the ‘moodslim in chief?’
It really makes you wonder about the posters who buy into this B.S. What Condi said was basically that Obama is not a terrorist and they want to make a big deal of it.
Condi didn’t lie. All she said was that Obama isn’t a terrorist. That’s about it. She neither endorsed, nor criticized. Actually, I take that back, it was more like that saying, condemning with feint praise.
Do you have a source for that? There was a lot of speculation, but to my knowledge she never revealed her vote.
In this Jan. 15, 2007, file photo released by Saudi News Agency, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, right, meets with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after her arrival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. King Abdullah has presented Rice with gifts on various occasions like a ruby and diamond necklace with matching earrings, bracelet and ring worth an estimated $165,000 in July 2007, and a estimated $170,000 flower petal motif necklace the Saudi monarch gave to Rice in 2005, which the State Department says was not previously disclosed. YOUTUBE 11/05/2008 RICE STATEMENT ON OBAMA VICTORY (LINK):
"President elect Obama was inspirational and I'm certain he will continue to be." "...this country... continues to surprise, it continues to renew itself, it coninues to beat all odds and expectations. You just know that Americans are not going to be satisfied until they really do form that perfect union and while the perfect union may never be in sight, we keep working at it and trying. And I just want to close on a personal note, as an African-Americam, I'm especially proud."I transcribed her statement accurately but it is still CRITICAL that you view her demeanor, to make a judgement. This was the day after the election before she could sublimate her emotions beneath a more neutral and diplomatically flat response, as in the following.
12/282008 CBS INTERVIEW (LINK):
"There is a widely held belief in Washington, anyway, that you voted for Barack Obama," Braver said. Why callObama's election a step toward a more "perfect union?""And as secretary of state, I'm going to keep my partisan or non-partisan views to myself on that," Rice said. "But I think all Americans were taken with the fact that we were able, after the long history that we've been through, that initial birth defect of slavery that we elected an African American."
What does the exuberance of her response and her unrestrainable smile tell you?
If the election results made her "especially proud", do you think she went into the voting both and pulled the lever for NOT "especially proud" and a less "perfect union?"
I have no doubt where I'd place my bet!
Look, I don’t really care what Condi’s personal views are, now. She’s no longer in public service. Her views are her views, but she didn’t say anything worth getting upset about in her statement about Obama’s foreign policy. I don’t see any point to your criticism. It’s an unnecessary distraction.
"Distraction?" After the exposure of the false flag careers of so many prominent "Republican" figures (Jeffords, Specter, Crist, Murkowski...) someone who doesn't care the Rice is obviously concealing her true colors doesn't mind being played for a fool.
If you bothered to view the video in my comment and could make the case that she was not clearly overjoyed by Obama's election, you should have done so rather then claim it shouldn't matter. That's pathetic!
At this point, almost everyone looking at this story will believe it is more about standing up for the tribe rather than policy.
Maybe she also hears Hillary is leaving soon and is being screened for the job. Never know what is totally up with politicians.
doesn't care the Rice = doesn't care that Rice
