Did Rice vote for Obama? She will not answer directly, but here's earlier evidence, from before she could formalize her "diplomatic" cover:

YOUTUBE 11/05/2008 RICE STATEMENT ON OBAMA VICTORY (LINK):

"President elect Obama was inspirational and I'm certain he will continue to be." "...this country... continues to surprise, it continues to renew itself, it coninues to beat all odds and expectations. You just know that Americans are not going to be satisfied until they really do form that perfect union and while the perfect union may never be in sight, we keep working at it and trying. And I just want to close on a personal note, as an African-Americam, I'm especially proud."
I transcribed her statement accurately but it is still CRITICAL that you view her demeanor, to make a judgement. This was the day after the election before she could sublimate her emotions beneath a more neutral and diplomatically flat response, as in the following.

12/282008 CBS INTERVIEW (LINK):

"There is a widely held belief in Washington, anyway, that you voted for Barack Obama," Braver said.

"And as secretary of state, I'm going to keep my partisan or non-partisan views to myself on that," Rice said. "But I think all Americans were taken with the fact that we were able, after the long history that we've been through, that initial birth defect of slavery that we elected an African American."

Why callObama's election a step toward a more "perfect union?"

What does the exuberance of her response and her unrestrainable smile tell you?

If the election results made her "especially proud", do you think she went into the voting both and pulled the lever for NOT "especially proud" and a less "perfect union?"

I have no doubt where I'd place my bet!

Look, I don’t really care what Condi’s personal views are, now. She’s no longer in public service. Her views are her views, but she didn’t say anything worth getting upset about in her statement about Obama’s foreign policy. I don’t see any point to your criticism. It’s an unnecessary distraction.

This wasn't about betting. I was aware that Condi made the comments that you posted. My post asked whether or not this statement by Minus_The_Bear was true or false:

Condi has said before that she voted for Obama.

Since he has not responded, and neither you nor I found any confirmation, it is almost certainly false. Apparently Minus_The_Bear just made it up to trash Rice.

A nasty little lie in a nasty little thread.
