Any peace agreement which requires the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state or an exchange of land is out of the question, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Friday.
In a Ramallah meeting with Hadash party Knesset members, Abbas said that it was now up to Israel to recognize a Palestinian state with 1967 borders, and that the PA had already recognised Israel back in 1993, thus negating the need for any further acknowledgment.

The irony is that when the Palestinians lie about their intentions, the world is more than willing to buy into it. They’re apparently too stupid to know how to work the scam. Israel, IMO, goes along with the peace talks for the sake of appearances, knowing how it will end; with the Palestinians looking like the mad dogs they are.
I am glad Abbas finally told the truth, but I think most people here, have known this for many decades. Now, the problem needs to be dealt with. I have no desire to see a whole lot of people die, but, as sad as it is, I have always thought that this problem will not end till one side no longer exists.
all it would take to solve the palestine problem is a little under an ounce of antimatter applied in the right spot. Or barring that plenty of napalm.
Unfairly and unjustly so. However, it is what has been transpiring for many years. Arafat held the same position. They did obtain more land ... to no avail; and then there was Gush Katif, of about 5 years ago. A true tragedy for the people that lived there for many years were forced by soldiers to leave it all behind. A Thriving community which was immediately destroyed by the Palestinians. SAD.
Our State Department led by the Hildebeast knew the Palistinian answer to Jewish sovereignty. These peace talks are just a way to boost her image as an advocate for peace. This is just spinning the wheels in the same old ditch.
And if our current administration possesses one shred of decency, it will immediately stop pressuring Israel to do anything at all until the ‘Palestinians’ agree to recognized Israel’s right to exist.
That should be a pre-condition to any sort of talks.
They will never acknowledge Israel. They are from the RELIGION OF PEACE!
Let them try again against ISRAEL, including that rat faced moron from Iran and allll the Haiatholas!

There will be no peace agreement until after Russia, Iran, Turkey, Syria, and other Mid East countries attack Israel and are totally destroyed during which the Mosque on the Dome of the Rock is destroyed. Then the Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt and a peace agreement will be announced.
