The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee may be throwing in the towel in Washington States Eighth District race between incumbent Rep. Dave Reichert (R) and former Microsoft executive Suzan Delbene (D).
The Delbene campaign has been running silent for at least 48 hours, and sources indicate that the DCCC has cancelled a third of their broadcast television buys in the Seattle market for October 19th through the 25th. Credible sources claim that the cancelled spots were those that targeted Reichert, leaving Delbene now to fend for herself.
The cancellation of the DCCC's ad buy affects a critical time period in the race. The Eighth District is all mail-in voting and ballots drop on October 15th.
As Democratic strategists shift to triage mode reallocating resources away from losing campaigns to unseat Republicans, to races in which a sitting Democrat has slipped into a state of shock the decision to give Delbene her last rites must have been an easy one. The most recent SurveyUSA/KING 5 poll taken on September 29th showed Reichert leading Delbene by seven points, 52-45.

Murray is going to lose! As Dem money leaves state, she is going to sink, as well!!

“Murray is going to lose!”
From your keyboard to G*d’s ears!
Dino was on Hannity the other night and said Patty has out spent him 3:1 and he could use some help.
If anyone has any extra time or cash to spare, I’m sure he’d appreciate it. He’s a good guy and light years better than Patty Osama Mama Murray. He needs to be able to fight back with the lying ads Patty has been running on TV (even the newspapers are calling out Patty on the truthfulness of the ads; and, their doing so has quite frankly surprised me).
What? The Dims can’t find enough dead voters?
i gave him money twice..alright 3 times is a charm. i think this race most important and will be closest
Yep, the Rats have got to shift funds to previously-thought-to-be-safe seats like Bawney Fwank’s in Matchachoosetts.
Thanks for the donations to whom I hope will be my next Senator. I agree, some are saying he could be the 51st vote in the Senate. I also think it will be close, but hopefully not as close as the 1st gov race with Fraudoire.

Ping sionnsar if you see a Washington state related thread.
I don’t have a TV so I don’t often get to watch the political ads. I saw one by Adam Smith the other night and was kinda surprised to see the level of venal hostility he was showing.
Smelled of desperation and failure.
Good riddance to all dhimmicrats!
“Jay Inslee (WA-01).”
Inslee’s been around way, WAY too long...time for him to find another job!!

New poll shows Rossi up by 6!

King 5/Survey USA released a poll that showed Smith up by only 3%, but Smith’s campaign shot back and said their internal poll showed him way ahead. This is from Sept 22nd though, so anything could be happening. I’d love to see Smith go!

Adam Smith’s reelection campaign has released a memo from its pollster that refutes a recent Survey USA/King TV poll on the 9th Congressional District race.
That poll had Republican challenger Dick Muri within three percentage points of the incumbent Democrat.
But the Smith campaign poll, conducted by the Benenson Strategy Group, had Smith holding a comfortable 19 point lead. The Smith poll memo shows that Benenson interviewed 400 likely general election voters and that the poll has a margin of error of 4.9 percent.
Of those interviewed, 54 percent said they would vote for Smith or, if initially undecided, were leaning toward voting for Smith. Pierce County Councilman Muri received the support of 35 percent of those interviewed, including leaners.
Said Smith Campaign Manager Matt Perry, “These numbers are perfectly consistent with the actual vote in the August primary election and clearly refute the accuracy of the recently conducted automated poll done by King 5.”
I totally agree. I seem to recall reading that he planned to run for Governor - if he does and wins, he’ll be as bad as Fraudoire.
