Thank you for your comments. I’d like to point out that, despite the pretences of the loudly self-identifying Christians on this thread, I haven’t seen a single person here defend this young man’s homosexuality.
Am Christian myself and am absolutely sickened by homosexuality... but that still leaves room for my heart breaking for this kid who will never have a chance to turn from his mistakes. It’s also painful thinking of his family who will suffer knowing the agony he must have been going through to make this decision to kill himself and will never forgive themselves for not having been there to somehow help him through his mistakes.
“I am not a Christian”
So what are you?
They are, indeed.
I certainly havent called for their heads.
I did not say you did.
Whatever happens to them, they will live with their actions a long, long time.
Correct.
I think they pulled this nasty prank out of anger against someone they barely knew. I doubt either of them anticipated his suicide.
Carrying around that burden for life will not be enjoyable.
Wow. Are you seriously suggesting that suicide is the expected and appropriate consequence for the dead kid’s sin?

Watch it r9. You might blow a gasket with this reply.
But yeah. Suicide is an expected and appropriate consequence.
Talking about moral and spiritual suicide here. This guy was spiritually dead. Now he’s physically dead too.
Am I happy? Do I believe he deserved it? No, of course not. But it is to be expected.
So you believe that teh people pointing out that the young man killed himself out of shame are also homosexual? Quite a reach.
Are you seriously suggesting that suicide is the expected and appropriate consequence for the dead kid's sin?
I am pointing out that he thought so. Or he wouldn't have done it.
Actually in the homosexual propaganda book, After the Ball, one of their talking points is to blame all homosexual suicides on the attitude of society. I see it's working.
As they used to say in these parts “he joined the Air Force ‘cause The Army wouldn’t take ‘im.”
If he HAD done it with a girl... If he was a normal guy...
Chances are he’d still be alive today. Not dead from his own shame and guilt.
Are they attending college for pre-marital sex which is also wrong? Does the committing of one sin make another ok?
.... I havent seen a single person here defend this young mans homosexuality.

You posted this reply to r9etb? You might want to rethink that remark.
r9etb was defending this young mans homosexuality way back to post 11.
Just trying to find out what your meaning is.
What do you think “self-righteous” means?
Here’s what my Synonym Finder says it means:
Righteous in one’s own esteem, sanctimonious, pharisaic, smug, puritannical, hypocritical, pietistical, unctuous, insincere, etc.
So any criticism of homosexuality is wrong, then? Since pointing out that it is wrong exhibits “self-righteousness” (not sure which meaning) to you? In fact, pointing it out is worse than practicing and promoting same sex sodomy?
1. He does not have his own place. So he attempted to eject his room mate to have privacy. I stated that before - you are choosing to ignore it because if you acknowledge it then you have no point. He was not entitled to privacy because privacy comes with having your own place. He might have gotten a hotel room.
2. And yes, I would see all of this the same way if it had been a tryst with a girl, followed by jumping off a bridge for some reason or other.
3. Broadcasting it was wrong, but not more wrong than kicking your room mate out so you can get your jollies.
Uh, no -- and speaking of "quite a reach".....
As to the verse in question, perhaps you need to do a bit more research on its meaning before you presume to lecture others on its proper use.
That’s a deflection
Look, son -- I already know you're an idiot. You don't have to keep reminding me.
This is the focus, not on the deadly act of anal sex that liberals encourage and celebrate to our young children, but on those around these kids who do not want it taught as normal behavior.
Liberals literally “love” people to death don't they?
There is a stat out there that says homosexuals are 9 times more likely to commit suicide than straights. I guess a lot of them have the inclination but just need something to push them over the edge.
Days before the shocking suicide, Ravi posted to his Twitter account, tweeting that his roommate Clementi had asked for some privacy. "Roommate asked for the room till midnight," he tweeted on Sept. 19. "I went into Molly's room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay."
The kid asked for and got privacy, it's how decent people get along. Why they taped him is anyones guess. Mine is they knew and wanted to humiliate him.
Homos do that?
While you’re about this thread taking Holy Scriptures way out of context - just to defend homosexuality; take on this one.
James Chapter 1
14 but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

This is specific to what happened on the George Washington Bridge last week.
But I’m curious. How would YOU spin this to suit your needs?
The question was directed at the statement that his wanting privacy was deserving of the taping. Do you agree?
