Andrew Cuomo, betting that he's still running in a very blue state, offers a bit of a challenge to the Republican base:
"There are no places in New York today for Tea Party politics," he said today, per NY1's Josh Robin.
There are no places in New York today for Tea Party politics,” he said today, per NY1’s Josh Robin.

Well, well, well, that should put an end to him pretty quickly!
Democrats certainly aren’t in tune with their intellectual godfather, Thomas Jefferson.
Thomas Jefferson -
“Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the boisterous sea of liberty.”
“I own that I am no friend of energetic government, it is always oppressive.”
“That government is best that governs least.”
“If there should be any among us who would wish to abolish or alter this constitution, let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion is tolerated where reason is left to combat it.” I’m not exactly sure about the exact wording of that last quote but am sure it is from Jefferson.
Anyway, sounds as if Mr. Jefferson would be right at home at a Teaparty rally.
Thanks andi this will come back to bite you in the ash, bank on it.
Yes, and his name was Mario (azende me tuzeprovenos sfachim) Cuomo
What an ignorant, elitist a**hole you are!
Andy needs a campaign appearance with Obama to offset this gaffe.
[just trying to help]
Need...more...coffee...
Something about this makes me smile. Pride before the fall. Hubris.

“Cuomo was apparently rattled and left his own event (which was pretty rained out anyway).”
Is Ben Smith on the DNC payroll?
“There are no places in New York today for Tea Party politics,”
Sounds a lot like a tyrant telling the people what they can and can’t do. The Democrat mentality.
“Cuomo says that that NY has no use for the Tea Partiers. After decades of reckless spending, unfunded pensions and large government debt, who can blame him.
However, it is time to take government back. If you stand for responsible government and oppose continuing down the dead end road of government as usual, tell Cuomo he is wrong by voting against him in November.”
The problem with this ad is that in NY, he may be right. But least when things fall apart, everyone will know who is responsible!
Andrew, you’re father thought he was invincible in ‘94, and got a big surprise. Hope you like Tea!
All of the producers should move out and let the rest of those who truly believe that the “Tea Party Politics” have no place in NY fend for themselves.
