Andrew Cuomo, betting that he's still running in a very blue state, offers a bit of a challenge to the Republican base:
"There are no places in New York today for Tea Party politics," he said today, per NY1's Josh Robin.

So what is he saying? That loving liberty is illegal in New York? That demanding lower taxes is a crime?

By golly, he’s right about that! Or, at least, there haven’t been any Tea Party politics in NY....ever.
On the other hand, Mr. Cuomo is a punk, and a bacala.

Did he take off his shoe and pound it on the table? Did he shout “We will bury you!” ?

Really? Cuomo is not impressing me as being very astute. He may have set himself up for the biggest upset of election night 2010.

Help me out here. Wasn’t there another Cuomo who was governor of NY in 1994? Didn’t he wind up doing a potato chip commercial with Ann Richards after she lost to a certain Shrub?

Cuomo has summed up the dysfunctional state of New York’s problems in a nutshell.

I guess that, according to Cuomo, the Constitution is null and void in NY state.

I think what he’s saying is that teaparty conservatism can’t win in New York.
Let’s just give the liberals their own country and the conservatives their own country and see who does better.

That sounds somewhat like a Titanic declaration. We shall see. It was an extremely arrogant statement from a narcissist:
Define narcissictic
. self-loving (characteristic of those having an inflated idea of their own importance)
Define narcissism
. narcissism (an exceptional interest in and admiration for yourself) "self-love that shut out everyone else"
